Lana

Chapter l : The beginning

Everything started in a small village in a place called Darkwoods , it's was a far away place where you can relax and find your soul , it was a mountainous area with lots of trees and animals it was almost like a forest , the air was fresh , the people there were nice and life was beautifully peaceful there .

What made Darkwoods beautiful is the large lake and a famous cave called Joana , it was told that Joana was an old lady who lived there for ages and she was killed by a the darkness.

they said that she was a beautiful lady and she had never been out for 50 years until the day she was murdered and found swigging from a tree by The Cold Lake , no one knows the truth because nobody had ever been there since the old lady moved to that cave, even though it's been 150 years .

Regardless of the place and the village, there was a young beautiful girl named Lana she was a nice person with a stunning smile and long blond hair and rounded clear eyes up a rosy cheeks and a little nose between them , Lana was smarter than any of the kids there , she has many friends and she was loved by her mother and grandmother, her father died when she was a baby girl, nobody knows exactly what happened but it was mostly related to Joana the old lady , her mother Anna gave her everything she had to make her happy and precious because she was her only child . Lana's house was an average house with surrounded by pines and right behind it a large lake , when you enter Lana's house you can feel the love and kindness in every corner , it was a great house consisting of 3 floors And a big chimney , Lana's room was nice and girly she had lots of books because she loves to read , and dolls all over her large comfy bed with a window at the side , the air was gently moving the window's curtain as the moonlight could  enlighten the room , Lana had her daddy's pictures on the shelves beside some of her accessories .

It was a summer night when the village had a special celebration that no one would miss , they decorated the tress with small lights , filled the tables with varieties of food and wine, and music was playing until the end of of the night and people were happy , dancing and having a lot of fun but Lana wasn't there she never loved celebrations , she was someone who would like to stay in a quiet place which made people feel weird about her because everyone else were different than her.

Lana's life was mysterious and filled with curiosity , it was getting more and more complicated as she was getting older , everything was getting real and she started to develop life around her as the years go by and every friend started to leave and life changed but it wasn't something new to Lana because she was already used on that when she was 12 years old.

It was October 10the birthday of Lana. grandma Merry and her mother Anna were making a surprise for her , they backed a cake and decorated the house and brought couple friends when Lana came back home everyone shouted out : "SURPRISE!!"

Lana was really surprised , her eyes were wildly opened and covered her mouth with her hands as she was flying for happiness .

"oh my lord ! Thank you so much , I never expected that " she said .

They sang the birthday song and enjoyed the time together as they were eating the cake and opening the presents, grandma Merry gave her a special present it's was a book of her father it was called " In the memory of the experiments " Lana was quite surprised and curious about what is inside the book and why she gave it to her now . When the party was over Lana went to her bed and opened the book she couldn't understand what was it about in the beginning , it was filled with symbols and numbers it was like a weird type of science or math but it wasn't actually, Lana kept ready over and over but she noticed something weird about that book , it was like a warning from someone or something .

Suddenly Lana realized something it was the name Joana , it was a freezing moment she knew that her dad's death was truly related to Joana , even though she still does know exactly why and how is it possible but Lana spent days and weeks without enough sleep ,trying to find the reason for her fathers dead. One day Lana was faded and she decided to talk to her grandma.

Lana :" grandma, why did you have that book?"

G Merry : " I knew that you will ask me, it was meant for you darling ."

Lana :" how ?"

G Merry: " when you were born your father had to leave in order to keep you safe, you and him have the same blood and it is the same blood Joana had , something weird about those who had your type of blood...."

Lana : " keep it going ..."

G Merry :"it was cursed and everyone who had this blood they seemed to love loneliness and darkness ."

Lana : " I can see why I tend to be lonely ." Sh said .

G Merry :" I was never supposed to tell you so But destiny can't change his path, now or later you will have to face it Lana ."

Lana :" what about mum? .... She is not one of us is she ?"

G Merry:" no, She is not .. I'm sorry darling. "

Lana : " it is never your fault grandma.. I'm living it everyday , since I was born I can feel loneliness running around me everywhere I go I mean look at me ..."

G Merry :" Lana , remember one thing ; keep the book and you are different than the others ."

Lana :" I know ."

G Merry:" No. you don't , and one day you will know ."

Lana was confused about everything even though she has already been feeling something wrong about her life.

One day she was standing by the Cold lake  thinking and staring in the clear water suddenly , she saw a reflection of an guy face so she turned around he was so handsome with green eyes and brown fair hair , he was tall and strong , his voice was so gentle and everything about him made her think about how noble he is.

" hello my lady !" He said

" oh hi ! " Lana was stressed out .

" don't worry I'm a nice person, I was hunting and I saw you alone... by the way I'm Nath " he said

Lana :" nice to meet you Nath , I'm Lana."

Nath :" glad to me you Lana.so are you from here ?"

Lana :"yes , I'm just relaxing here."

Nath:" I'm from here too. May I have a walk with you ?"

Lana : uh yeah ... yes sure ."

Lana was feeling epic today she had never been with a guy before, especially at a sudden moment but at least she forget about the other fact of her life for a while. Nath was a nice guy to her she seemed so comfortable with him and happy they spent the day in the woods walking and talking about their life , you could see the smile on Lana's face and joy all over her .
When the sun was going down she had to say goodbye to him and go back home to recapture the day, she spent the night thinking about Nath and dreaming of a good moment of life .
