"Do I need to know something?" Kirino spoke as my heart beat increases.

"...Not even a simple word can tell you how messed up I am..."

"Huh? Shin, did you say... somethi---" Kirino no longer finished his sentence and remains silent. In my peripheral vision as we resume to walk, I saw the guilt and sadness on his face. I want to hug him, but I need my personal space. I don't want Kirino getting involve, but in reality... He is, and it's because of me.

Third Person's POV

Kariya Masaki impatiently taps the wooden table and glancing at the wall clock every two minutes. His so-called date was showing signs of irritation if you look close on to her forehead, a nerve is has shown and is about to blow. Impatiently, thoughts run over his head and not only thoughts are in his head, a punch on it was gained.

"ARGHHH!!! Beta---" The teal haired girl placed her hand on his mouth and shushed. Beta's eyebrows were slanted.

"Get on with it idiot! They'll come and goodness, do you have some proper manners on you?!" Kariya swatted her hand away from him, earning the same angry look of the woman he's with right now.

"I don't care about manners! And do you know how careful Shindou and Kirino-senpai is? They're seniors! Plus, its the playmaker were talking about..." Kariya muttered his last statement as Beta sighed.

"First and second of all, stop with the formalities on them, it makes my ears blood, yughh. Can you call them--- like, without formalities or whatever you call them!"

"I can't! They're older than me that's disrespectful."

"Says the one blackmailing a small, innocent, cute little yet old girl" She said with a smirk.

"You are over rated you hear me! None of which you mentioned are true."

Beta gasped and placed her hand on her chest "Sir, I am f*cking adorable!"

Kariya grunted "Cut the crap will ya'? I'm having regrets about this--"

"Regrets?! You're the one who drag me into this, had to go with it since you owe me big time! Consider yourself lucky that I had the empathy." Before Kariya could reply back, she stuff a tissue on his mouth to make him shut up, and with the perfect timing, his mouth was open.

"And please, calm down. If you want this silly plan of yours to work, you gotta sit tight and act natural. Of course, you have to act as my partner for it. Typical girlfriend and yadayada"

Kariya spit the wet tissues in his mouth and grossed out. He raised a finger tone waiter and mouthed water, sooner or later he got his request and immediately took one gulp.

"You are so exaggerated..."

"Whatever..." Kariya fixed his polo and unexpectedly, a guy approached us and handed Beta a piece of ...circle?

"Gamma! Good to see you in one piece! Did Alpha get the text?" Beta giggled and was earn by a smirk. The white haired boy run his hair upwards, smirking at the girl.

"Do you really want me out of your life shorty? But let's get to the main point of the situation yes?" Beta nodded along with Kariya by her side, listening. "He understands quite well unlike the both of us lets be honest. I've heard Takuto's mate is coming here shortly, looks like lady luck is on you're side."

Gamma insert his hand on his pocket before getting out of the shop. Kariya's eyes trailed the boy as Beta was giggling. She bit her finger and smiled mischievously. "Oh I wouldn't be so sure Gamma..."

"He was talking about---"

"You do realize he wasn't talking about Ranmaru-chan, did you know that?" Kariya glanced at her and as he expected, she was smiling. Kariya was out of words, what could she mean? Is Shindou hiding something that Kirino doesn't know? This worries Kariya for some reason, but whatever it is, he's not getting involved.

"Kariya?" Two voice spoke in unison.

But he's already consuming regrets that can lead into his nightmares. Kariya slowly turned his head and his eyes met Kirino's, same surprised emotion was seen on their faces especially the pinkette.

"Beta? Why are you both together?" Shindou asked. Kariya felt Beta's hand on his own and smiled and stayed silent. Deep inside Kariya, he knew what Beta was after, it was his plan after all. But why back down? The show is already starting, war of emotions and lies.

"Didn't Kirino-senpai told you Shindou-san? We're dating, and it's a pleasure for me to introduce you my girlfriend."

Me and Beta are unlike, but one thing we have in common, we're both mischievous. But one of our dangerous features is hiding our true intentions, our emotions. It's our nature.

But two-faced fits the whole explanation to it.

The running water gushing on the faucet was being used for me to freshen up. Gasping for air, small droplets of water run down to my face, letting them go. I fetch the towel beside me and dry up. A curl on my lips was formed. Surprisingly my well-build body is holding on, why you ask? The cold breeze is touching me directly, and my training has been hellish. But it was worth it.

In just 2 months or short, I'm about to see you soon... I collided my fist on my palm and smirk, fist on the air. My smile never fades, it was a big improvement for me.
