I wake up soaked in my sweat and turn my head to the alarm clock sitting on the nightstand to the left of me. 2:00 AM. I can't go back to sleep. It's 26 degrees outside and I'm sweating my ass off. I don't feel sick and I keep it at a solid 61 in the apartment. Tyler, The Creator was playing on a low, soothing volume from my stereo on the shelf at the foot of my bed. " Watch out for the pothole..." I slide out from under my thick cover, out of my bed and into my crocs. Everytime I wear them, I'm constantly reminded of the shit I got from my friends when I bought them, but no matter how ugly they look, they're comfortable as hell. I drag my feet across the floor and into the kitchen. There was a sudden flash of light that blinded me. My legs felt weak and I couldn't hold myself up anymore. My eyes went into tunnel vision but I was still aware. My body dropped to the floor and my head hit the carpet. I started to... dream? It's dark. I'm not sure if I can wake up or not but I want to try to... No use. I lose consciousness. I fade into darkness. I wake up as a new person. No memory of any previous event. I have brief thoughts of my appearance but no way to prove my theory. I quickly comprehend my surroundings. I'm at the end of a hallway. The floor is a boarded, wooden floor with a dark red carpet with a brown stripe that runs down each side that ends about a foot before the end of the hallway. The walls have a peeling, brown, stained wallpaper with curling designs that look similar to flowers. There are four doors that run down each wall, they have a tanish off-white color. Between each door is a dim light that flickers every couple of seconds or so. There is a railing at the end of the hallway that I could only assume would lead to a staircase that goes down. *chlink* I hear the jingling of chains coming from the closest door to the right. It brings a wave of curiosity to me and I get the urge to go see what it is. I slowly walk to the door. *ch-chlin-ink* My heart beat starts picking up and the closer I get the more anxious. *chlink chlink chlink chlink* My heart is beating really fast now, I can hear the beat and feel the throbbing in my head. I reach for the cold, golden door knob and slowly twist it open, scared to see what's on the other side. I pull it open and scan the left side of the room. Nothing. *chlink chlink chlink* I quickly turn my head to the right of the room. There was a pair of sisters, both naked and chained to the wall, there was a metal collar around their necks and there was a cuff on each hand that was attached to a chain, which led to the wall. There was a man behind each, pounding their groins, in a thrusting motion, into each. Neither seemed to have a problem with their situation but they didn't seem to enjoy it either. Their faces had no emotion. They made no sound. I felt obligated to help, but I was too scared to. There was no light in the room except for what light was given from the lights in the hall. The men's faces were hidden by the shadow. I was horrified, the two sisters were friends I'd known for some time. I took a step back and must have tripped. I fall and fall and fade back into blackness, darkness, dark-blackness. I lost consciousness again. Forgetting myself again for a small moment. Not knowing what existence is, was, or would have been. Not being able to think until reawakening.
I stared at the night sky, the stars are bright. There was a breeze, cold enough to feel a sting but warm enough to not shiver or freeze. There was a slight sound that sounded like waves hitting the beach side. I stand and look all around myself only to see miles of wheat and a single building. I don't know why but, I felt like I KNEW it was an orphanage. I walk closer to investigate. I notice that the walls are lit, as if they were windows or they were lights. They were somehow lit and put a dim ray of light onto the ground, where no grass grew. I had another flash and forgot my position for a split second. Upon comprehending what had just happened, I anxiously turn to investigate my surroundings again. I had not left my spot. When I turned around to face the front of the building again, there was a Nun and a boy. The Nun had a horrid face and the boy had no emotion but I could recognize him as a close friend of mine. As soon as I finished this observation, the Nun charged up to me and starting screaming at the top of her lungs. She had pure white teeth and as she angrily screamed incomprehensible words, spit was evacuating her mouth and drool would fling off of the bottom of her jaw. It wasn't taxing on the ears, I just knew she was yelling but I couldn't understand or hear her. I shut my eyes. When I reopen them, I'm back in that damned hallway again but this time, it seems to be a bottom floor. I can see the stairs that lead up to the next floor above and, instead of moving my feet, I ...teleport... to the first series of stairs. I'm only half way up the entire flight that takes me to the next floor. I then reach the next floor using the same method I had used to reach the stairs. My hearing starts to come back... "-ind some time, Find some time to do somethin'..." I go back into a tunnel vision and finally wake to see that I'm laying in my floor from where I assume I had blacked out or had a seizure.

The Dreams of Samuel
RandomThis is a series of closely detailed dreams I've had in the past. The dreams are accurately detailed and stay true to the way I perceived them. The only things that aren't accurate are the beginning settings (i.e. when I'm "awake").
