After an hour or so I decided to get out of the now tepid water and get dressed. I slipped on a nude bodycon style dress. I sleeked my hair back into a fishtail ponytail and kept my make up minimal.

Walking up to Pandemonium I didn't even have to wait in line I just flashed the bouncer my eyes and made my way inside. Music pulsed around and I could feel the energy of the club fill my veins with excitement.

I went to the dance floor almost immediately. My body flowed to the best of whatever song played through the club speakers. The world slowed around me when I danced. My purple eyes came out and glowed and could be seen in the darkened club. Hands wrapped around my waist and I let them stay there as I continued to dance but once the song ended my world came crashing back and I walked away from whoever had their hands on me.

I didn't even bother to turn around and look at whoever it was as I made my way towards the bar. I was craving something fruity and sweet.

A strong aura was suddenly next to me and it scared me for a moment before I looked up and saw a very handsome man in front of me. I felt as if I should know who he was and yet it was on the lip of my tongue. I knew he was a Warlock that was for sure. His eyes looked almost black in this lighting. I felt something spark in the pit of my stomach.

I had never felt something like this for a man before. A woman sure but I never thought I would feeling something for a man. Who was this man? I sipped the pink drink I ordered as we both just stared at each other.

"Who are you?" His strong voice seemed like a whisper.

"Elena," I said as I set down my drink. "Who are you?" I was genuinely curious as to who he was.

"Magnus Bane." His hands made a gesture and I couldn't help but smile. I held out my hand to him and he placed a kiss on it. A blush crept up on my face. Dot was right, Magnus was a charmer but I could already tell over the years he knew when to be seriously in love.

"Pleasure to finally meet you, Magnus." I placed my own kiss on his hand and I couldn't help but smirk slightly. I had felt his pulse rise when I kissed his hand. Body chemistry doesn't lie.

A commotion in the curtained VIP section caught our attention as we both looked over and I caught sight of another beautiful man with dark hair and striking blue eyes. What was with tonight at Pandemonium? I noticed the blue-eyed man was a Shadowhunter and the thought of not knowing who he was, saddened me.

A flash of fiery red hair ran away from the scene and I knew it was Clary. Her mother should have told her who she was from the beginning I never liked the fact that I had to lie to the girl.

The blue-eyed man and his fellow Shadowhunters took their leave after what had happened. I turned back towards Magnus when I felt something was off. Something bad was about to happen I could just feel it.

"I'm sorry but I have to go. You should run and hide Magnus. I feel something is coming." I turned away from him and quickly made my way towards the Frays loft apartment. I just knew I had to go there. I didn't even give Magnus time to ask questions about what I was talking about but he would be a fool to ignore the warning.

When I finally reached the Fray house I pulled my mother's seraph blade out from under my dress and the blade came to life. My mother's seraph blade and her stele were all I had of her's. According to my father before he passed it was all I needed to know about her. Which I thought was a load of bull now. I knew I could have portaled there but portaling took a lot out of young Warlocks and if I sensed danger I would need all my strength.

With the glowing blade in my hands, I made my way up towards the loft. I could here Clary talking to someone but the only thing I sensed was a demon. I started to rush up the stairs but when I got there the blonde Shadowhunter from the club killed the demon.

Clary passed out and I rushed over to her. She was bitten by the demon and it would need healing. I hooked my blade back under my dress and the blonde picked her up and said we would need to get to the Institute to heal her fully. I knew he was right but I was just worried that if I went with them who would find out my secret. I knew it was only a matter of time before someone did.

So I followed him to the Institute and once we got there he was bombarded with questions as was I but instead of answering them right away I made sure to focus on Clary's health first. I knew her mother, Jocelyn would want Clary safe at all costs.
