Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Lost

The beginning.

(( Quick A/n: if there is any editing needed tell me. I would enjoy the help. I do this all on my phone so you gotta understand where I am coming from.)

A charmander awoke in a forest of some sort, unsure how she got there, or why her body was so very warm. It aches a bit and a get up and look at my hands for a brief moment. The Charmander saw them..and...some flashbacks came over, of a... Pokémon..a Pokémon from long long ago, before it slipped my mind once again. She couldn't recall what she was thinking of before, but she knew that she has forgotten something very important. And for some reason, being a Charmander wasn't all that surprising. She stayed quiet and look around for any sort of Pokémon nearby. And decided to go in a random direction for a while. It seemed like forever, walking along with her own thoughts clouding my mind, before she saw a town of some sort. Something...drew me toward it, whether it be finally finding civilization, or something deeper that she can't understand yet, but she walked in to the town blindly, rubbing her arm nervously and looked around at all the Pokémon. My..mood suddenly changed. She was afraid to talk to anyone, and yet... she needed help.

But meanwhile down the street only a few blocks away... a riolu woken up the same morning on the abondoned house he has been staying at. He has beem on his own for a year now. A whole year... his mind slowly more and more falling more into depression? Why try ? His parents did die protecting him. He made up a lie saying they are on a trip but he knows it isn't true. Anyhow he would make his way out a window and walk out onto the street where he would see panchamp waiting for him. He sighed knowimg his daily besting was about to come... "but why?" he would think. Why did he deserve this beating? It wouldn't matter. It would happen either way. The panchamp started his assult with a tackle hitting me right up against the house. The riolu not even putting up a fight... his pain very expressive as he yelled out in it, falling to the. Panchamp the went to kick the small shiny.

"H-help.:" he would whimper before being kicked right in the face.

Max sits there for a while, looking around for anyone that looked friendly. Why was everything suddenly so scary? She went towards a certain point in which The Riolu and Pancham were meeting, before my head fogged up with that image....what...what Pokémon is that? "Why do I keep remembering.. Who..who is it?"

Max holds her head and try to remember again. Gone. The image was gone. She felt like I'm missing something important. She look around once again and saw the riolu being hit. When she saw the Riolu, my heart thumped loudly, and when she saw him in pain...it hurt..it hurt a lot. Max wasn't sure what came over her, or how she knew how to use a Pokémon move, but she ran right up with a loud growl and scratched the Pancham with all her strength. The pancham fell back and ran off. The dark type only having a light wound unlike the riolu. She gets on her knees and looks down at you, obviously freaking out.

"M..U-Uh, Y-You okay? That looked pretty rough... "She looks around for an adults help.

But they were on the outskirts. They would have to fix this on their own until they can get into town.. The riolu slowly say up "I... I.. can't see... Why can't I see!"

"Calm down, Calm down, l-let me take a look at your eyes..." She moves your face close to hers gently, getting close enough to look and see if there was anything wrong with the insides of them, or if he could see her from this close.

His eyes seemed a littlr foggy he could make out you slightly. "C-charmander?"

She nods, telling him that yes she was a charmander carries him back, beet she can anyway, and ask for help. Eventually, they were treating him and making sure he was okay.

The riolu was now eating, The riolu growling to himself. " Charmander?Come here... I wanna thank you."
She walks up and looks up at you, not knowing how she carried him, with the riolu being bigger than her.

He grabs younand pulls you close crying.
"H-Hey..Hey..It's okay. She hugs you close and smiles, rubbing your back*
The riolu crys softly. "Its... not.. I am so alone... d-don't go please."

"Calm...down.." She looks up at you. "Sounds like you've been having a bad time.. What's your name..?"
"M-my name.. its Mike." He said before collapsing onto his back. The pain still there.
The charmander helps the injured Pokémon sit down carefully, smiling at the Riolu, petting you softly.
"My name is Max. It's nice to meet you, Mike." She sits down beside you do you don't fall
Mike latched onto her agian Hugging you tightly. Afraid to let let go. Afraid that if he did. She would fade away. Never to return.
" Hey...Um..I.. don't know where I am, or how I got here, but, I'm glad I was able to help." She smiles and hugs closely. "They said you were fine, but you do need glasses."
He would look at her onfused. "Your at Serne village."
She nods and sighs, closing her eyes Well, thanks for that. I guess I'll have to find a place to stay until I can figure out... She goes quiet. She didn't know WHAT she was gunna do! What was she here for? Why..is she a Pokemon? She hasn't even realized she's a she yet.
The riolu unprompted looked at her once more. "You can stay with me... I have been alone for a whilemsoma friend would help."
Oh. Are you sure? " She says nervously, blushing a bit for no particular reason"
Nods and hugs you "Thisnis the best way to repay you."
"Okay then. If your sure, I'd love to live with you! " She smiles again, making a happy sound "But for now, let's eat up so you can be good as new, then we can see about your glasses.
The riolu quickly ate the apple. His stomach growling. She gives him her apple. The rilou shook his head
" No you eat it, your new here you shou-"
"I'm not hungry~" when Mike heard that he dug into the apple like there was no tomorrow. Max smiled note watching you eat. She wasn't so sure, but being near him made her feel at ease, like she had been friends for a long time. Though, she knows for sure that that wasn't the case. He looked nothing like that Pokémon from before, the one that talked to her, the one that turned her into a Charmander. She could...barely remember it...and yet at the same time, it felt was trying to force its way back into her brain. But Mike, he couldn't waited until Adino brought his glasses. He just couldn't wait to see his new friend. The riolu had a sudden urge to tell her a truth he kept to himself.
"Max..."
Max looks back up at him. Wondering what he wiuld need. "Yes Mike?"
"What if I told you... that I am the reason I am alone."
The charmander looked at him confused. "Huh? What do you mean? You seem so nice, and your fur is kind of shiny. What's not to like?"
Mike sighs and looks at his feet. "People don't lkke shines.... they tend to wanna exile or kill them."
" What?! That's terrible! You look so cool!" She cheers and hugs him closely. Not letting go of the sadolu and he started to cry when he hears that. That was the nicest thing he was told.
"N-No, don't cry.. " she wipes his tears with her small hand. "I like it better when peop-..p-pokemon smile.."
He just hugged into your chest agian not wanting to let go. Seeing her flinch a bit. Her chest was somehwhat sensitive , and Max guessed she must have hit it before she woke up for it to be that sensitive, but Max would hugs anyway, petting your head.
"Thank you Max... I really mean it.. will you stay here tonight?" He asked
"I will, if it makes you feel better. But you have to promise to smile for me at least once.." The charmander gave s little tease. Not wanting to see him cry.
As soon as mike heard that he would smile. The riolu now seeming really happy
"There we go~! Everything looks better with a smile! " She was very happy as well, though she couldn't know why, it seems that they were almost destined to be friends and Mike. And Mike he hugged her close and kept her on top of him. Almost like a blanket. The charmander hugging him too, to she was like a warm little blanket for most of your body
"I think a bit of rest is in order. Then...Maybe you could show me around this...Village thing?"
He nods slightly and yawned " I will try... If I can see."
Isn't that what the glasses are for silly." She pokes his ear
"If I get them tomorrow." The riolu sighed again. Hoping they come in soon.
"Well, if not, I'll ask someone else, and come back as soon as possible~" she yawns. "Are we gunna sleep like this, Mikey?"
"Yes please thid is comfy."
Okay, I guess that's no problem. She buries her face in his fluff. They both then fell asleep slowly. In each other's embrace. Keeping each other safe in there dreams.
