The last person in the shadows

"What the hell?! Where am I?" I look around for something that looks familiar , but its no use all i see is fog and what looks like trees. "Hello?" I shout but nothing again , where the hell am I the last thing I remember is falling from the apartment building window. Willingly ? No , my drunken step dad pushed me out all because of a freaking comment. Should I have done more than that ? yeah ,but what would have happened.? I had to be smart though for my mom, I've told her that we should have just left a long time ago. She never thought that leaving would be the best option. As she said "he'll just find us and ruin our lifes more", she loved him but not as much as my acutal father. He died when i was born , he was rushing to the hospital when a semi- truck came out of nowhere and drove into the side of his car. My mom never told me much about him, but what i gathered is that he was a good man and cared deeply for my mom. More than my pathetic excuse of a step father ever has. Hell half the time he's just around for money and a place to sleep, other than that he's out with his friend's sleeping around and getting drunk. But any how, enough about that piece of shit lets talk about me. Im Lugh Cupid , 22 years old and a complete reckless idiot. I look like my mom , skin as white as snow , black hair and eyes that are a blue as the ocean. My mom always said that when I was a baby that my eyes  are an ocean in which her dreams were reflected. It always sounded like a quote from a sappy romance she always watched. Anyhow lets get back to the task at hand trying to figure out where the hell i am. "Hello? I'm getting real pissed and freaked out , where the fuck am I?!" "shhhh!" I turned around as fast as i could to come face to face with a man that couldn't be older than 40. "shut the hell up kid do you want to kill us?!" "what the hell?" I say as he pulls my arm to walk. "What are you doing ?" "geting us out and taking you to Silvious" "who the fuck is Silvious?" he doesn't reply all he does is looks a head and stays quite. 

It must have been a ten minute walk to what looked like a town. There was neon lights everywhere , building that were half destroyed and old looking. Little shops that had people in them. A Little diner with the name "Proserpine" , " kid come on" the man says angerly as he grabs my tighter this time. "Geez you really like my arm don't ya" i say and he gives me a look that I can't describe but drops the smile from my face. " Hey I never got your name" " It's Cronus" Cronus had a very straight face " well mine is Lugh " as I say my name is whole body tenses. He doesn't say anything for the rest of the way.  After what seemed like for forever we finally arrive to a a larger building than the rest. Cronus does a weird knock and purple mist comes from the door. Suddenly it opens and shows a beautiful living space. " Silvious!" Cronus yells out, I'm still confused about who Silvious is and why he is so important? " What Cronus?" a voice from around the corner says. After a few moments a six foot  three man comes into view, he looks familiar but i can't put my finger on it. "Sir, I've got a new novice" Cronus spoke to the familiar looking man, "I see, son what is your name?" Silvious said to me "Lugh Cupid". Behind me I could feel Cronus giving Silvious the same look he gave me when he heard me say my name. Silvious looked at me in complete shock and disbelief , and not saying a single word so to break the silence I did what I do best "You know when ever I'm silent that means I would rather talk to myself more than anyone else". After I had said this something clicked in Silvious head and he walked away. " Hey, where are you going? Cronus said that he need to bring me too you and it was a long walk here from where ever the hell it was!" I say as i follow Silvious , but he doesn't budge . "I'm talking to you " "Go away kid" "I can't until you explain to me what this place is and who you are" I stated stopping in my tracks. Silvious must have noticed and turned towards me "You want to know what this place is and who I am ?" "Yes". Silvious came more into the light and I saw more of his face than before. "Dad?"
