"No Jace! We are done!" Clary yelled and stormed out of his room. She ran down the hallway and into the green house. Tears came flooding down her face.

"Clary?" A male voice sounded. She looked up to see a sweaty Alec standing next to her. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. Why are you here?" she asked.

"I saw you run by the training room. Thought I'd come and check on you," he said and kneeled down in front of her. He gently placed his warm hand on her soft cheek. She looked at him as he wiped her tears off her cheek.

"I'm sorry I interrupted your training," she snuffled.

"Don't be. What happened?" He asked her and lightly put his hand on her knee.

"I don't want to talk about it," she said quietly.

"That's ok. I'm here when you want too," he said and stood up. She's grabbed his hand to keep him from walking away.

"Please. Stay," she said. He sank down next to her on the bench. She laid her head down on his shoulder and have a slight sigh of relief. He ran his fingers through her hair and calmed her to sleep.

~ALEC'S POV~
Her head laid on my thigh and her breathing was steady. She looked so beautiful in her sleep. Her bright red hair stretched down her back. Her right hand rested on my knee. I carefully pick her up and carried her to her room.

Her golden sheets perfectly stretched across her bed. The dark maroon curtains were closed and blocked out all sunlight. Candles burned on her desk and night stand filling the room with a pumpkin spice smell. On the other side of the room were a bunch of paintings and her desk.

I laid her down on her bed and began to pull away. She gripped my shirt and pulled me back to her.

"Clary, you need to let go so I can go to bed," I said and held her hand.

"Stay," she said sleepily and kept pulling. I laid down next to her. She laid her head and on my chest and rested her hand on my abs.

~CLARY'S POV~
I wake up expecting to see Alec next to me. Instead, I see him standing in front of my window pulling his shirt over his head. His back was covered in faded and new runes. He was looking outside with a stern face.

"Are you ok?" I asked and sat up. He turned his head to face me.

"Yeah, just thinking," he said and turned back to the window.

I crawled out of bed and walked to my closet. Pulling my shirt off, I stood there in a black tank top. I slid a gray tank top over the black one and walked over to Alec.

"Are you sure?" I asked and looked out the window. Jace was training with another girl, Cassie. I looked down and walked back to my bed. Pulling my boots on over my black jeans, I felt the bed sink next to me.

"I think the better question is... are you?" Alec said and pulled my face up to look at him.

"Alec, you wanted to know what happened. Here it is."
