Please no hate, this is my first fan fic. Helpful Criticism is welcome. I hope you all like it. And tell me if you want more and could you please comment. The characters belong to Marissa Meyer, this chapter is told through wolfs point of view.
I was running down the hall way with cress, going over the plan in my head; "find scarlet, do whatever we needed to do in order to get to scarlet, protect scarlet.....and cress, find winter, meet up with everybody in the throne room with scarlet and winter, dethrone Levana, have cinder be queen, live happily ever after". But one thing muddled all of my thoughts, “what if she's dead?" that thought left my mind as soon as I smelled her. "She’s here, this way." I ordered
"How do you know, the cells are this way" cried Cress gesturing back the way we came.
"I can smell her." I growled.
Cress squeaked, “Sorry, forgot.” Then I shoved her in to the other hall way. “Hey! I sai-“
“Don’t move.” I barked. There were 7 guards running towards me. Thud. Thud. Crack. Thud. Crunch. Thud. Thud. Crack. I grabbed cress. ”Let’s go!” she was staring at me like I killed all of them. “I only killed two, the rest are unconscious.” She swallowed.
“O-OK” she stuttered. I licked my lips, my lip was bleeding. I turned a corner, but something was wrong. I stopped, cress ran in to me “oops, sorry, why’d we stop?” she asked. I started sniffing the area. It smelled like make-up, tea and cookies? Why would Lunars have make-up? And then there was scarlet.
“Cress where are we?”I asked looking down at the petite girl.
“Um, the map says we are….” Cress said while looking down at her port screen, “near the royal bedrooms. Why?”
“The royal bedrooms, why would she be their?” I thought
“Wolf?” she asked nervously.
“Hmm”
“Shouldn’t we be moving?”
“Yes, yes let’s go.” That explains how many guards there are. Cress screamed. He was running at me fist in the air. “Jacin?” Then he lunged.
Block.
Grab.
Twist.
Chock hold.
“Why you little traitor! Where’s scarlet!” I yelled
