Eden sat at the kitchen table,the sunlight beaming on her ,warming her hands as she has her porridge.

"mum!" James shouted from outside in the garden "its here!"

Her mother,who has an incredible natural beauty looked up frpm the daily prophet and stared at the door.

James and the oldest , and  Michael burst in through the kitchen door 

"dont bring mud into the house" her mum said sharply

"but Edens letter is here" micheal said holding up an enevolope sealed with red wax,Eden leaped out of her chair and grabbed the letter from her brothers hand before it had any chance of disappearing.

she stared at it in unbelievement she had just come to accept that would never go to Hogwarts like her brothers and sister,now she was more ready than ever.

she tore off the wax as her family stood with desperate eyes.

we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry.

Please find enclosed a list of necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on september 1st,we await your owl by no longer than July 31st.

"im so proud of you!"her mother smiled wrapping her in a large hug,her brothers joined in and her elder sister,Clarissa sat painting her nails in the corner.

"ewww you got mud all over me you beast" Eden moaned pulling away from the group hug.

Her brothers who were both strong lovers of quidditch,micheal had just left school and was training to become a professional quidditch player and James was on the slytherin quidditch team.

Micheal laughed at his sister and spread dirt over her face and she squealed in horror,her mother laughed and shooed her children away so she could clean up the kitchen after breakfast.

"you dont have to be scared" micheal smiled at his sister "Clarisssa and James are going to be there and you know the basic spells that we have taught you"

Eden looked up to the eldest dearly he had always stood up for her when people teased her.but all of edens old friends had gone to a wizarding school so during the day she was left at home with her mother.she had no problem with this of course they had a very close relationship and her mother spoiled her.

Her father spent the majority of the time working at the ministry but he would always give his family whatever they needed.

the St.Marshalls were very well known and popular among the wizarding families.Being a pureblood family of slytherins,they were incredibly intelligent and could master basically any spell so it came as a massive surprise when news came about Eden.

Eden knew the basics of magic ,she would often read spell books that her siblings would pass down ,she was also a lover of quidditch just like her brothers,when michael wasn't working or training he would help her with quidditch practice in the field nearby the house,she was a quick learner and having a brother who was becoming professional at the sport she learnt new tricks which made her just as good as him,for her 13th birthday he brought her the latest nimbus broom with some money that he was saving.

James was a lot like his brother,loved sports but didn't care so much for his grades and school and often would get detentions at school for being a nuisance. 

Clarissa, the second eldest was the complete opposite of Michael, she only cared for herself and what people thought of her ,she used the muggle product of make up and was known to be quite a flirt with the boys.

The next day eden and her siblings travelled by floo to Diagon Alley, Eden had came many times but now that this was meant for her it felt more special.she held the pouch of money her mother gave her and walked into the bookshop.

"ah Michael my favourite man" the shop owner smiled coming over to the students "what can I get you today?"

"standard books of spells grade 3,6,7, advanced potion making and everything necessary for a third year"

"blimey!" he spoke "does that mean that Eden has been accepted?"

Eden felt a blush crawl on her cheeks she found it so embarrassing that everyone knew about her not being accepted into Hogwarts.

"well congratulations"he cheered "and for that you can have all your books half price"

Eden carried out all her books in a big pile , struggling and trying not to let them topple over 

"so whats there to know about Hogwarts" she asked taking a sip of her warm butterbeer causing the foam to make a moustache she wiped it away and listened to her sister.

"be carefull of snape" she started "whatever you do don't get on his bad side but because youll be a slytherin he'll probably be slightly nice to you"

"and try not to blow up yourself in potions" james said getting up from the table and jogging over to his quidditch mate that came through the front door.

"be careful with him,hes grown to be a proper git " Michael leaned in and whispered "if he says anything bad to you owl me straight away and ill come and sort him out"

"or you can come to me" clarissa spoke up making Eden roll her eyes "you have more of a chance of flirting with him that helping" she muttered

"ewww no" she moaned "hes too young for me but ive got to say hes definatly had one hell of a glow up over summer"

Eden turned at stared at the blonde boy,her family and the malfoys had always been very close while their children were growing up,they would always attend each others dinner parties and balls.

Eden remembered Draco when she was younger,he had always been a bit of a spoiled brat and would complain when nothing would go his way.

but clarissa was right, he had defiantly had a glow up over summer. he had grown taller and much more attractive accept eden would never admit this to anyone but she wasn't interested in boys and Michael wouldn't let her date anyway.

Draco looked over and noticed Eden staring at him "take a picture it will last longer" he smirked at her and eden made a mental reminder that he was extremely cocky.

"so youre finally going to Hogwarts?" he sighed "took you long enough,are you going to be joining all the first years?" he laughed and james joined in earning a glare from his siblings.

"Eden is perfectly capable  of mastering spells Malfoy so be careful for when she beats you and becomes top in class" clarissa surprisingly said ,she grabbed her younger sister and pulled her out the café.

"don't let Malfoy play you around,okay?" she said applying another coat of lipstick.

"wow clarissa it sounds like you actually care" Michael laughed 

"no I just don't want people to say things,its embarrassing for me"
