The Air And The Sea

The Meeting

     The day has come, I am terrified. I never wanted to marry a horrid flying beast but I must unite the air and sea. But I am glad father is allowing a sort of get-to-know-each-other or a date as father calls it before we are sent to a castle of our own.

     As we near the surface I am even more afraid of what we shall see. I read from books that dragons are ugly, powerful creatures that favor destruction. They are covered in scales of lava and they have shockingly sharp teeth, as to rip apart their prey. But Father has said the dragons have evolved such as we have. I must agree with father I suppose, as he is the oldest of the elders.

    We finally surface and I am hit with a blast of wind. It's cold but we continue towards the shore. There are human ambassadors to help us. We come as far as we can to the land and are grounded and cannot move. The ambassadors help us further on to land. As soon as the water can no longer touch us we then transform to our land brethren. The humans help us to be clothed and we are lead to sheds near the beach. After we are made decent we make our way towards the meeting hall. Once we enter we go to our seats and wait for the dragons to get here. 

   We hear the dragons touch down and enter through the door. I stare in amazement; the dragons are beautiful! The first ones I see are what I assume are the Prince and Princess.

  The Princess was more dazzling then any gem I would find in the ocean, she had a beautiful dress that flowed around her ankles, the top was a little loose as dragons still kept their wings. She had on peridot earrings and an obsidian jewel in a princess headband on her forehead. Her neck was lined with red jaspers and pink diamonds. I then look along with her hibiscus colored trumpet design that had jewels on her sweetheart neckline that she had other types of jewels all along her hemline. I look a little further down to see that she had on paprika colored wedges to end her warm color ensemble.

  I finally tear my eyes away to look at the prince and, I am greeted by the same obsidian earrings, however, his earrings were much more jagged as if it had barely been handled before they were given to him. He had a neat hairstyle where it was all swept to the side.  He was wearing a handsome English Cut suit with a semi-spread collar and three button cuff in various shades of black. I then look down and see he is wearing whole-cut shoes in black to complete his monochrome look.  

   They all sit down and they begin to plan out arrangments for my marriage to the dragon prince as I freak out over how pretty the dragon siblings are and how they are making my bisexual heart do loopty-loops.  'woopty doo'. This is going to be fun. 

I hope you enjoyed this first chapter. I honestly based this off a dream I had and liked it. So I decided to write it out. Anyway, stay tuned for the next chapter.  Ani OUT
