Once In Domino City, Japan, the city became filled with so much Darkness that is was almost impossible to save! Duel monsters had been destroyed because of this, people were turning on one another, friends no longer talked, and a dark cloud when someone walked by or went into the town seemed to hang over it, everyone had felt this darkness and that is why people seemed to have left the City Of Domino. Only a very few stayed in the city, while Domino was in its darkest stages. Atem, The Former Pharaoh, would be one of these ones who has stayed, as well as his old friends, Akina, Ryou, June, Tristan, Joey, and Tea. There was a new girl who has moved to the city, right before Domino went into the 'dark stage.' This girl's name was Saiochi Darkshadow, and somehow, she had brought the darkness from where she was previously living with her, and Akina had befriended this new girl, as she was always a welcome committee to new people, everyone in Domino had warned Akina to stay away from this girl, but she didn't listen. "There is something off about this new girl, Akina, don't go near her..." Atem would tell Akina. "I agree with the Pharaoh, Akina please don't go near her..." Akina's best friend, June would plead her. "Please listen to them, I know what it's like to have darkness, Aki..." Ryou would also plead as Joey, Tristan and Tea would look concerned at Akina, they were worried for her safety and the fact she was so caring. Akina, with all friends pleading, still was stubborn and did not feel the need to listen. "Look, everyone, I know what I'm doing, I've heard rumours about this new girl but rumours are only rumoured until proven, trust me..." Akina would tell her friends who were all worried, and then walk over to the new girl. "Hello, Welcome to Domino City! I am Akina...and you are?" Nobody knew of this new girl's past and it was yet to be discovered. "Saiochi...Darkshadow..."The girl would narrow her eyes and look at Akina and smirk although to her it looked like a smile. "Tell me about yourself, I would like to know..." Therefore, These two women got to know one another, and then it was not that long after that Domino entered its Darkness Stage and may never be the same again...
