My Dear Blu

Counting crows

One for sorrow
Two for mirth
Three for a wedding
Four for a birth
Five for silver
Six for gold
Seven for a secret not to be told
Eight for a kiss
Nine for a wish
Ten for a bird not to be missed

There's this atmosphere he carries around him when he walks with his best friend. A happy yet sad atmosphere, like something was wrong but he didn't know it yet. He worries about his best friend all the time but it doesn't help. How can this Hufflepuff help his Slytherin best friend in her time of need when she won't come out and say what's wrong? The Slytherin in question is Blu Bane a short grey haired young person with a ton of books hidden in her closet and her best friend is Evan Ivy a tall black haired with an addiction to muffins.

Evangeline's POV
I walked all over the grounds and even in the library, the forbidden section is her favorite, but still she wasn't there. So I had to think just like her. Then I figured it out, she's practicing her patronus in the Defense Against the Dark Arts room so I wrapped my yellow and black stripped scarf around my neck and hastily walked towards the stairs. Blu hasn't gotten a patronus yet but I'm sure she will soon!

As I walked in the room I saw the poor Slytherin sitting on the floor crying and holding her chest. I walked over to her and sat next to her on the old dusty wooden floor.
"Blu dear what's wrong?" I asked her as I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and pulled her into a side hug.
"I have a big secret Evan, but I'm afraid to tell you. I'm afraid you won't be my friend anymore." She said as she took her wand and slowly stopped crying. Her sobs finally turned into sniffles and she produced a patronus.
"Blu! It's a wolf!" I said in excitement as she wiped the tears from her eyes and smiled.
"So it is" she said as the wolf walked over to her and sat with its head resting on Blu's knee.
"The stairs won't let me go up the girls stairway." Blu said as she sighed and looked at her wolf patronus as it slowly disappeared.
"What does the mean?" I asked as I shifted my gaze from her wand that was lying on the floor to her baggy sunken eyes.
"It means, Evan that I'm not a girl. I'm... I'm a man" she said with such hesitance and fear.
"Your..trans?" I asked. She nodded her head and scratched the back of her neck and- oops I should change that shouldn't I? HE scratched the back of his neck and looked at me as if he had just lost a best friend.
"Aww Blu I still love you" I said as my heart began to speed up. I had a crush on Blu for the past six years that we've been going to Hogwarts and honestly it's been heaven even though his parents kicked him out and told him to never come back again, and he keeps forgetting to take his medicine each day.

"You..what?" He asked as he turned and looked at me. My face began to heat up and by the expression on Blu's face I can tell I'm blushing.
"I love you Blu Bane. I've had a crush on you for the past six years since we've been coming to Hogwarts" I confessed as I looked away for fear I might cry when he rejects me. When I looked back at him he was smiling, a real genuine smile.
"I love you too Evan Ivy." He said as he kissed me. I didn't know that he liked me too until now. When he pulled away it felt like a part of me wanted more, but the other part wanted to talk more.
One year later
Blu's POV
I talked with Dumbledore and got everything straightened out and the whole school actually accepted me as I paved the way for more people like me to come out but the poor me keeps getting stuck on the stairs resulting in tardiness for classes. We had been dating since I came out to Evan that cold September day which we will celebrate in a couple of days.
"Evan can you do me a favor?" I asked as he put turned around to face him.
"Sure, what do you need Blu?" He asked me as I pointed towards the griffin near Hagrids cottage. We walked over to the griffin when he saw something shiny around her neck.
"Go get that off of the poor dear will you?" I said as I smiled at Evan. He nodded his head and turned around to grab the shiny object which turned out to be a silver and green necklace with yellow and black charms on it. When He turned around I had gotten down on one knee and was holding a blue box. When I opened the box Evan covered his mouth and began to cry. Inside was two silver bands, a couples ring.
"Evan Ivy, will you do the honors of being my husband?" I asked him as he stared at me and the rings. Then he began nodding his head like an excited school girl.
"Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!!" He said in harmony as he held out his hand so I could put the ring on him. Of course Hagrid was watching and gave me the thumbs up. You see, me and Hagrid has been training Belle to wear the necklace for this special day. Half a year of training to be exact and now I owe Hagrid a drink.

I put the rings on our fingers and kissed him.
"I love you my dear Blu" Evan said as he pressed his forehead against mine while we held hands.
"I love you too my darling Evan" I replied as we walked to Hagrid who was now standing on the porch waiting for us. Apparently he had tea ready for us while we were celebrating.
