"Did you guys know each other when he-"
"Shane."
"Okay, I'm sorry." He grumbles, raising both hands in surrender before tilting her head towards Jake who sat quietly, observing the girls around him.

"I didn't know he was allergic to nuts!" Natalie shrieks, trying to win an argument against Sky, Cleo's twin on who had the worst first date.
"So how did the date end?" Cleo asks, handing the bottle over to Jake.
"In the hospital, he told me to never see him again."
Everyone burst out laughing, Rae had just woken up from her nap, realizing its already 1am in the morning and called for one last round- Jake's turn.
Lana, leaning against Shane's shoulder with droopy eyes watched the bottle spin slowly with everyone watching in silence wondering who the last victim would be. Jake still kept his stoic face as it came to a stop, directed at Lana.
"Anything, right?" Jake asks, as the first a question popped up into his mind.
Receiving a nod from everyone, even Lana herself. He sat upright, leaning forward as if reaching Lana even though there was a gap between both beds they sat on.
"Are you still a virgin?"
Silence filled the whole room.
Lana's tired eyes widened, her eyes showing she was on full alert and kept a glowering stare at him. The girls knew better than to jump right in. If there's one thing he had to know about Lana, its that her attention span depended on the amount of sleep she had and clearly this was just the wrong timing.
Jake kept his deadpan expression back at her, almost as if they're trying to break each other through stares- none of them giving up.
"Well, are you?" he repeats, leaning forward a little more with his hands clasped on his lap.
"Stop it!" Natalia hissed, hitting Jake's arm with a book she was holding. "You can't ask her that- or any girl for the matter!"
Both of them still kept this unspoken stare between each other until the other girls chimed in, agreeing with Natalia and giving him pieces of advice.
"I'm going to bed." Lana stood up, pausing right at their door to grab a few snacks they shared left on their little hallway table. "I'll see you girls in the morning."
