This story is about a child with extreme courage who conquers his fear of the unknown, and endures a series of trials within this tale...
The sun rose to reveal a crimson plain within the shadowy sky, and our hero, Thomas, awoke with his comrade Caroline. And as the two friends exit the shelter that had protected them through twilight from a lake's amount of downpour, they began to scan the area for which path to follow, and how to follow it.
On the west side there are a series of rocky mountains of varied sizes; capped with glaciers of ice to form their mighty peaks. Below these towering giants, a lush landscape of radiant green could be seen as a result of this land's flora.
To the east, a scorching desert filled with mounds of sand that had been brought from the once sea-bed, and of the highest caliber. It was once said that the ancient sons of old fought a battle upon this land, and have been buried by the sand over generations.
Northward, a castle. Standing tall, mighty and proud. Tiles coming off of the towers to form their peaks and of the most beautiful blue. Many people have stared at this magnificent stronghold built by the dwarfs for the humans, and have lost themselves at its radiance.
Finally. To the south a cave, forbidden for entry, and the dwelling place of a dragon. Legend has it that this dragon will one day emerge from its cave, and purge the mythical world of all light and hope. Leaving the land devoid of life, and in total darkness.
But one thing was certain. These two brave souls weren't afraid of such a catastrophe, or about the powers and magic that they possess. They just didn't know it yet...
