Kara and Mon-El had still been avoiding each other for days. Mon-el knew had Kara made him feel and he was married but Irma had been driving him crazy. He knew in his heart that he only loved Kara and not her but he also couldn't bear to tell her. Kara on the other hand had to stay strong in front of everyone even though it killed her to see that mon el was married.
