Chapter 1-the meeting

Moon's POV
BOOM... BOOM. " Why do I have to walk in the rain?" I asked myself as I walked out the back ally. As I started to walk, I heard a scraping noise. I adjust my eyes in the dark until I saw a figure in the distance. "Is someone there?" The figure asked. I paused for a moment before answering"Y-yes."
I took out my flashlight and saw a black bear with a red hat and bowtie. He also has red rosy cheeks. As I walked closer to the bear, he turned his head slightly to show his face. He missing an eye. 'Aww, poor buddy,' I thought to myself."Here, let me help you, " I said, helping him up. "T-thank you," He said. I nodded.
Lefty's POV
As I get up, I look at the Carmel skinned girl. I start to blush a little. "Oh, I almost forgot, my name is Moon," the girl said. "What's yours?" " lefty, " I said. We both stare at each other for a moment before I heard a honk of a taxi cab. "Come with me, " Moon said, smiling. She pulled on my hand. "Are you sure?" I asked. "Yes," Moon said, getting in the cab. As I get in the cab, I could see the drivers face expression. "S-so where are you going tonight?" The driver said. "Home, " Moon said, giving him the directions.
After a few minutes has passed, we finally arrived at her house. "Thanks," Moon said, giving him a 20 dollar bill. The driver nodded and drove off. Then she walked up the stairs and grabbed her keys. "Can I ask you a question?" I said. "Sure," Moon said, opening the door. "Why did you save me back there?" I asked. She paused for a moment before turning around and answered. "B-because I didn't want you to sit in the rain, " Moon said. "And besides, looked like you needed help." When we got inside, I looked around the house. "So, what do you want to do?" Moon asked."Do you want to watch a movie, " I said. "Okay, let me go get the blanket, " Mon said.
Moons POV
As I went upstairs, I could hear lefty walk around. I pulled the blanket off my bed and walked back downstairs. When I saw lefty, his cheeks where bright red. "You okay lefty?" I asked. "Y-yes," Lefty stutter. When I sat down, I could see lefty staring at me. "What pretty eyes you have," lefty blurted out. I looked at lefty, my face turning red. "thank you," I said before turning back to the TV screen. I felt a little on my head as lefty pulled me into a cuddle. As we sat there cuddling each other,  I felt warmth above my head.
       After an hour has passed, I struggled to stay awake. I leaned into Lefty's side and start to fall asleep. Then I felt two arms wrapped around me. The next thing I know that I was in bed, an arm still wrapped around me.
         As I went to sleep,  I heard a whisper. " Good night, Moon," Lefty said. "Good night, Lefty," I said before falling into a deep sleep.
