During lunch I had put down my purple ballpoint pen down and looked up from my journal.My gaze instantly reaching another table.It was completely over-flowed with his friends,some of them popular,pretty,handsome, yes all the stereotypical popular kids.But,most importantly there was him.There sat my soulmate or someone who I hoped would be.Who was I kidding? Because right next to him sat his girlfriend. Someone else who had my soulmates heart.Someone much better,beautiful,and perfect for him.
She stopped writing again to quickly wipe a tear coming down her cheek.In a trance she touched her cheek.
Was I not pretty enough?
Was my race not one of his interests?
Romeo and Juliet had a better chance as star-crossed lovers. Their love filled with lust and attraction. Both of the easily falling in love with another naive and young. They were perfect for another. Hopefully me and him will have a relationship.
