Robin's POV
Nothing happened as plan. I thought I would never see this day come, but of course, life is never perfect in the first place. Could this be the end of everything we've been through together because I can't take it anymore? There is no reason to confront him. I want him to be happy, but I can't be here to see it when he is. He needs her, and I need to get out of the way forever.
As I sit on the side of my bed early in the morning, still waiting for him, my husband Tyler, the one that I love dearly, but doesn't love me equally, I decided to text him. Even though I got no sleep, I remembered that there was a phone in my drawer that was to be for emergencies only, and for some reason, I believe this was an emergency.
It took me a few seconds to find the phone, but soon enough, I did. It was fully charged so I could do what I wanted to do ever since I found out about my husband's mistakes. They probably weren't even mistakes.
As I opened the phone, there was no password, so it was easy to text him. Typing in his number left a tear rolling down my face with all the feelings I feel right now with it. After I was done typing in his number, I hesitated, but I text something concise.
Why, why must you torture me?
********************************************
A few hours have gone by, and somehow, I made my way back to the bed, still waiting for my husband, who has never come home. I feel like I've been waiting for years for this man to go home.
Once again, my thoughts creep up on me like little spiders injecting venom into my brain and poisoning my mind away as I sit there, not trying to fight them off.
He has to be with her right now; I know he is. She's more beautiful than I am anyway, so she can have him and love him the way I couldn't, even when I gave him three amazing kids and a home to live. He would be nothing without me, but I guess another woman can make him something better than I ever could. I thought I was the one and only person he needed to help him, but I guess I was wrong like I was wrong about everything thing else in his life. It was a mistake marrying him, giving him kids, giving him a home, and finding a job that I know he lost a while ago because he is more focused on that woman than his career and household. It doesn't matter, though, because there is no reason for him to worry or take care of me anymore; my life will be over before anyone can help me.
I was woken up out of my thoughts when my daughter asked me why I was crying. I didn't realize I was crying until she asked me about it, and I didn't notice that she walked in beside me until she touched me with her delicate hand.
"I'm sorry, baby, I am."
"Why, momma, what's wrong?"
I didn't answer her when she asked. I just told her to get her brother Cole and to go wake up her sister Briana. She did as told, and soon enough, Cole came running into my room with his pajamas on and his bed hair asking me what was wrong. All I said was to get me a few supplies and text your dad that I need him and hurry, just so my life can end faster, but I mumbled that part. He also did as told.
I'm guessing I texted his father when I was deep in my thoughts, because I didn't realize a text back on the other phone, and when I looked at my phone, I see that I texted him about thirty minutes ago.
Cole's POV
When Bianca came running in my room, I was drawing like I always do in the morning to see how well my brain functions when I'm half asleep, meaning I was peacefully sleeping like five minutes ago. I was surprised when I saw my 14-year-old sister standing there with worried eyes. I asked her what was wrong, and she just told me momma needed me, and with that, I got up out of my seat to see what was wrong. As I was on my way to her room, I remembered she wasn't herself lately because my father wasn't giving her the attention she needed.
