CHAPTER ONE: A New Life
I was never the same after Lorraine's death. Some people could argue that I died when she did. I agree with them. Everything about me is different. Lorraine was my light and without her there is nothing but darkness. I promised myself that I'd kill every single person involved in her death and I've never broken a promise before.

I sat down on the curb outside of the coffee shop and lit a cigarette. I watched as the smoke floated into the air and blended into the grey clouds above. As soon as I heard the bell on the cafe door chime I turned around to find an old man with a receding hairline. He was talking on the phone as he walked to his car. I flicked the cigarette on the ground and followed him. For someone as high profile as him he doesn't pay much attention to his surroundings. He walked into the parking garage and standing in front of him was a girl with fiery red hair in high louis Vuitton heels. I ducked behind a wall and listened.
"Hello Peter," She said in a low, seductive tone. While running her long stiletto nails over his chest, picking at a button.
"Hello Ashley," He croaked. He slid his arms down her back and locked them on her hips. "Should we go?"
She looked up at the sky then back to him. "Yeah I should get going," She whispered in his ear, gently brushing her lips against his earlobe. He shuddered and she smiled. There was something so off-putting about her smile. "Shame you wont be coming with me," She pulled away and faked a pout,"
"I don't understa-" He started. Suddenly he gasped and fell to his knees. I heard the sound of skin tearing. I peaked my head above the wall to get a better look at what was going on.
"Shhhh," She said laying him gently on the ground. "I hope you didn't think you'd get away for what you did to me. To all those innocent women," She clicked her tongue and shook her head. "Such a smart man too. What a waste," She said rising to her feet and pulling the knife out of his chest slowly, enjoying every second of his agony. She closed her eyes and let out a sigh of satisfaction. She started to walk away from the body so I ducked back down so she couldn't see me. The last thing I heard was the sound of a car pulling away. I walked over to the body and smiled.
"I guess I better clean this up for her," I told him. He was spitting blood and was unable to talk. I grabbed his legs and dragged him to his car. I sat him down in the drivers seat and pulled out a water bottle full of gasoline. I poured it on him then dumbed the rest on the car. "I'm so happy I get to give you the hell you deserve," I whispered then lit a match. His tears mixed with the gasoline. I gave him one last smile then flicked the match on the car. It went up in instant flames. I lit another cigarette and walked away. One down. Seven to go.

When I got back to my house I flopped down on the couch and began my search for that girl. It was impossible though. I only knew her first name which I'm beginning to doubt and wasn't close enough to see her eye color or anything. Her hair was dyed so I couldn't use that either. I sighed and looked at the clock.
"Who are you?" I whispered before falling into a deep sleep.
