"I still sense a strange presence inside here." Genos explained to you as you sweated nervously.

"A-are you sure? Maybe it's just a rat!" You tried to convince him.

He went into the bathroom and came back out with a yellow belt.

"Does this belong to you?" Genos asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Wha- Oh! Yes! That's mine I've been looking for it!" You told him trying to make him believe you. You flashed back to Garou and the yellow belt he wore around his ripped pants.

"Do you mind if I check your room?" Genos asked you politely but with a stern voice.

"N-no! It's dirty!"

"No worries I'll clean it for you."

"I-I....I have panties everywhere!" You blurted out to him as he was about to open the bedroom door.

Did I really just say that...? You felt your cheeks heat up.

Genos paused before he opened the door and stood there for a second.
"Never mind then." He said as he took his iron hand off the door handle. "Maybe after you clean it up." He walked away into the kitchen.

You sighed in relief and wiped the sweat off your forehead. You were about to head into your room to check on Garou before Saitama whispered behind your ear.

"Whatcha hiding?" He asked.

"N-nothing obviously!" You shouted at him, feeling the sweat from your used to be dry forehead come back.

"Sheesh, I was just playing around. No need to shout." He held his hands up in defense. "Besides, I was just heading towards my room." He explained. "And if I were you, i wouldn't be shouting like that." He said with a stern look with just his head popping out of his bedroom door. "Not like you pay bills here." And with that his shiny egg head disapeared into his room.

Making sure that no one else was going to see anything in your room, you immediately opened the door and stepped in, only to see Garou sitting on your bed, playing with (p/n)'s ball with his feet, with a bored expression.

Behind you came your dog, (p/n), who immediately started to bark at Garou once it smelled a weird aura that didn't belong to neither of the three people it lived with.

"(P/n)! Shh!" You tried to shush them up, and when you tried to grab them, they ran under your bed, making Garou get up, and kept on barking.

"(Y/N)? Is something the matter?" Genos called out from the kitchen.

"N-No! (P/n) is just barking at a rat!" You replied. "Hide!" You whispered loudly at Garou.

"A rat?" Genos' voice was getting closer. "Want me to exterminate it?"

"Make that dog shut up!" Saitama shouted from his room.

You pushed Garou to your closet as you heard Genos knock on your door, but he refused. You glared at him and pointed at the closet, since you knew that Genos had very good hearing and would be able to hear Garou's voice from such a short distance.

Yet Garou shook his head and refused to do what you commanded.

He was about to open his mouth and say something before you right away shut him up by covering his mouth with your hand.

"Did you clean up your... panties already?" Genos asked making you flustered.

Garou looked at you, with one eyebrow raised and cracked a smile.

WHY COULDN'T I COME UP WITH A DIFFERENT EXCUSE?!!

"No! Wait up!" You shouted from your room.

Garou got up, but accidentally knocked over a figurine from your nightstand, which fell and broke.

Wow....

My favorite figurine....

"(Y/n)? Are you okay?" Genos asked but with more concern in his voice. "I'm coming in."

As you heard the door knob turning, you began to freak out and closed your eyes. Garou also seemed to be uncomfortable and knew that he couldn't be caught or he would get both of you in deep trouble.

So that's why he had a plan.

"(Y/n)?" Genos had finally opened the door. You opened your eyes to see Genos in his pink frilly apron holding...

A rolling pin...

Quickly remembering about Garou, you turned around to see the window opened, but he was gone.

Phew!

Relief took over your tensed and worried body.

"Where's the rat?" Questioned Genos.

"Uh... I think it went to Sai's room."

"Oh, alright."

You chuckled to yourself as Genos walked away. Being close to him made him easy to fool.

When he was completley gone, you went to the window and examined the outside, which was now sunny with the clouds clearing up.

You looked at both of your sides but didn't find him.

"That's too bad, he left his belt." You sighed and smiled at your few moments with him. "And he was actually kind of fun..."
