Why am I thinking so much of this? Today's the last day of summer, and I can't concentrate on this wall. "Kenai!" my brother snaps me out of my own little world "Hurry up and paint! We gotta get this done before tomorrow!" "Yeah, yeah!" I say as I start painting again. We're painting my room walls black today, I don't know why we didn't do it all through the break. I suggested it the first day of summer break, but my mom decided to do it now.
After awhile we finished. My brother let out a big sigh as he flopped onto the couch. The doorbell rang and my mom went over to it and opened the door. "Oh hey, Kona!" I heard her say. Kona Embra. My best friend since childhood. She's the only person I can be myself around. "Hi, Miss. Smith!" It was really her. She's here. Mom moved out of the way and Kona ran at me and actually threw herself on me. I started laughing as I huged her tightly.
I started pacing around in my room. "Kenai, calm down. It's fine. I'm sure you'll get the paper later today. Have you checked the mail?" My face lit up and I raced out of my room and out the door to the mail box. Mail! I grabbed all of it and ran back to my room. I threw the mail on my bed and looked through all of it. Found it! I opened it up and only read the homeroom 'Room 13A Mr.Johnson.' "Shit! We didn't get in the same class!" My dark red pointed wolf ears popped out along with my tail "Kenai! Calm down! It's just classes!" My ears went down "It's just that, the school broke our streak of being in the same class! It was gonna be 14 this year! Now we'll have to stick with 13..." "It's fine, Kenai."
Kona went home awhile ago and I'm slowly dieing. I keep getting lost in thought. When will today be over with? I can't stand another hour of this torture. I grab my phone and ear bud and put on some music. This should keep me from thinking to much.
