A/N - Hello lovelies! Lilith here with a brand new book for you all to enjoy. This time I decided to write a vampire-inspired story but before I grant permission on the first chapter I wanted to clear up things you may or may not know.
True Werewolf: A person with the ability to change into the form of a wolf. They are very strong creatures and very fast as well. Werewolves hate vampires however there is a current peace between them for now.
True Vampire: A begin that does not know death unless a celestial weapon stakes them in the heart. Vampires are faster than wolves and stronger than other species of vampire. Vampires live forever but only if they find their mate within 10,000 years...seems long but to a vampire that's practically 5 years to humans.
Side note to vampires is that they can have children and no they don't sparkle in the sunlight or burn in the sun.
Halfling: Half human and half vampire. They are quite weaker but are still stronger than humans. They don't live forever, however, they do live about 50 years longer than the average human. They are only born by a human and vampire; if a human is turned it can be very dangerous and there have only been a few survivors.
Mate: A bond between mates is unbreakable. When supernatural being turns 18 they will be drawn towards there significant half without even realising it. This lore though is different to vampires as they can find their mate as soon as they are born they just can't mark yet.
Marking: When mates are of age they will begin a marking process. The mates bond will pull them together to begin the process. The first mark is to bite a mark on each others neck- Each mark is different and can form any shape to show to others they are taken. Kinda like a wedding ring. The second process is to well mate with each other if you know what I mean... the last process is the bonding ceremony.
Mindlink: A way to speak to people through the mind without actually speaking. Not everyone is capable of this only extremely powerful being can do this.
The last thing, I am going to show you two of the main characters and what they look like. I will possibly add more but I will just explain it at the moment.
