Ups And Downs?

Umm

         Today is Roses’ birthday, she’s turning 17. She’s an average teenager. During the first semester she had really high grades; lately her grades have been dropping. Why?  No one is really sure. Her parents realized something has been up. “Are you okay?” they ask. “Yeah I’m fine.” Rose said.
After a long day of school Rose heads up to her room as always. She checks her phone and looks at social media. Out of no where she gets a text from Lexy “Check the mystery app as soon as you can.” Scared Rose hurries and checks the app. Rumors have started about her out of no where saying that she’s not hard to get with and much more but far worse. Rose runs, locks her door, and starts crying. “Why would someone say that about me or even think it?” She’s thinking, wondering, and trying to figure it out. Lexy not hearing back from Rose gets scared. Lexy texting Rose “Hey, are you okay?” “Yeah I’m fine” Rose says but that’s a complete lie. She’s crying all night thinking that tomorrow is going to be horrible eventually she ends up falling asleep. She doesn’t want to go to school she practically forces herself to go.
The next day at school, Rose went about her normal day. Of course Lexy was the only one she talked to all day. Her day was going fine, well until lunch. She had multiple guys walk up to her, stare at her, ask her on dates or to come over, she new it wasn’t because she’s pretty or smart it’s all because of those rumors. “Maybe this is how it’s going to be now, maybe I won’t have a normal life anymore.” She kept thinking over and over again. Finally time to go home. “Thank God she thought.” Of course she locked herself in her room once she got there for a little bit anyways.
Back to school then Christmas break. She thought this break is going to be horrible. Later that day, she heard rumors about a new kid coming after break. No one really knew who he is. She has to write an essay for English during break. Lunch was disgusting as always. The rest of the day went by pretty fast.
Roses’ point of view.
I was listening to music on the bus as always. I over heard girls talking of course the new guy was their talk of the day on the bus, of course being the kind of girls they are they’re going to try to get with him. Finally home. More rumors start, great the guy won’t know me and already hate me. “Lexy texts me. Hey are you okay?” “Yeah I suppose just really tired.” I tell her. The next few days just get worse. “Is there even a reason to be alive anymore, if this is all it’s going to be?” A few moments after that she got so many text messages from random people and people that I don’t even know. “Lets just ignore it.” The curiosity got to her she decided to read the messages. As she reads them she breaks down. “Why does people think all this stuff about me?”
She continues reading them. Eventually there’s one that tells her she should commit suicide. Lexy is constantly texting me checking up on me. Lexy doesn’t realize I’m lying when I say I’m fine, in reality I don’t even want to be alive.
School’s the next day. Rose is already prepared for the worst. During school she hears about the new kid his names Axel. While getting lunch he accidently bumps into her. Her tray went all over her. Axel panics “I’m so sorry!” he keeps repeating himself. “Let me help you.” Axel says. “Okay.” Rose says. “Maybe he’s nice and didn’t mean any harm.” Rose is thinking to herself. After the mess gets cleaned up, they immediately exchange phone numbers. They immediately become best friends.
Later that night Rose was doing homework Axel calls out of no where. He was furious. “Why do you let them say that stuff about you?” “I don’t know.” Rose says. “I won’t let them do it, if you won’t do anything then I will.” Rose doesn’t know how to respond no ones been this protective of her. “Why are you so protective over me?” she asks. “I don’t know why but I’ve felt like I knew you all my life, I feel like I’m in love with you.” Later that night Axel ends up asking Rose out of course she says yes, two years later and there still together.
Sorry this isn't the best story and its only a chapter long. Should I write more? If so what about?
