My dreams were coming true, I had a job, money and a supporting family.
Anyway it was a match day if we won this we won the super league cup it was just the start of a lifetime of fame, money and friends.Or so I thought...
I loved seeing the colours of blue and yellow scattered around the stadium cheering us on.
The whistle blew. We charged like rhinos across the luscious grass. I got the ball we were on the 5th tackle if we got tackled then we lost possession, we couldn't do that, we were losing, the score been 6-10 we were so close to our try line, every inch of the pitch seemed to be blocked off by the tigers. But then... Space! I darted after it. I twirled around them avoiding all of there "tackles", if you could call them that. I ran down my road of glory there seemed to be no end to it each second got better and better. By the end of the match I had scored 2 tries, 2 conversions and a drop goal. I couldn't believe it! On my first game as well. I held the cup up with pride I didn't want to let go. I cried. I thanked everyone. But then I got pulled over by this cameraman he said I was been interviewed . It seemed an eternity before he was finished. I ambled back into the changing rooms replaying the match in my head. I still couldn't believe what had just happened.
I opened the door to see...
