Part 7: Finally, an Explanation!

Then, it just flew right in front of my face, staring at me with the most adorable eyes. "Wouldn't Luca want to see me first?" it asked. Let me guess, you think I nodded. Welp, I did. Still hovering over my shoulder, it stayed by me as I walked out. Luca stood there, but he had his own little thing above his head. "So, we had the same idea?" he asked. "Yep." The little things flew in between us, and started a little light show thing. "Hello, we are your personal Demechus. We help you in realms, dreams, and any other needs to help. Any questions?" my little thing said. "WAT," I exclaimed. "THE ACTUAL FRIGG." It looked like Luca's had taken that as an insult. "And what do YOU know? We do the talking in this, hot stuff," it slightly yelled at me. Mine gave a small nudge to Luca's, and continued on. "Anyway, we have a lot of explaining to do. Would you like us to explain now, or in your dreams?" Let me be straight, what in the FRIGG what would you do in this situation? How do I even handle this? "Uhhhhh, now?" I replied, VERY confused. "Okay, great! You two, are Realm Scapers. The job of a Realm Scaper is to defend the realms from any threats, dangers, and non-scapers," it explained. At this point, I was just shook. A Realm Scraper? Skater? Oh, I forget. "Now, to be clear, you two aren't the same Scaper. You," it pointed at Luca. "Are a Realm Skimmer. You can't enter a Realm without an aid, but you can effect the Realm in your dreams," it said, and then pointed to me. "Now you are a Realm Invader. You can enter any Realm as you please, and can do massive damage if needed. But, you can't affect any Realm in your dreams." THAT made total sense. "Yep, yep, yep! And to be clear there are only two kinds of Realm Scapers, and you both fill the whole bargain!" Luca's said. I had so many questions, but I could only say a few. "So, what are your names, exactly?" Mine gave a small slap on her face. "My sincerest apologies. I am Nectini, and this is Rockshaw." By the expression on Luca's face, he looked totally confused. "Oh, shoot! I'm gonna miss the bus!" He waved goodbye, and sprinted to the buses. Rockshaw poofed out of thin air, and disappeared. "Well, that was rude," mumbled Nectini. "So, should we start going home?" I asked, weirdly. Nectini simply nodded, and flew to my shoulder. "I prefer to hover than communicate in Linbo."

"Wait, don't you mean Limbo?" I questioned. Nectini shook her head. "Nope, I mean Linbo, it's where Demechus commune with their masters." That caught my attention. "Master? Wait, I'm your master?" I asked, looking for any cars before I crossed the street. "Yes, I do what you tell me, unless you betray me," Nectini explained. "Just, how, would I betray you?" Nectini gave a sigh. "If you ask an Haveechu for a favor." This just confused my even more. "What's a, what was it, Haveechu?" Once I asked, Nectini flew in front of my face once more. "They are like the Demechus of heaven. They work for the angels. Most non-scapers think that angels are the ones that bless with their presence, but all of them are a curse. Realm Scapers say they are a disgrace, in which they are. They try to claim all realms for their selfish needs, and that's why us demons started the Realm Scapers," she explained. "Well, that was interesting. Wait, demons? Weren't they the one that tried to kill me at the beginning of the year?" I asked demandly. By the looks of it, it looked like Nectini took this as an insult. "How dare you! We would never try to kill off the last of the Realm Scapers!" she screamed. She made me jump like a cat, and I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand on end! I'm no cat! We are completely different. "So angles are the bad guys? Then why I almost die to demons?" I asked, still confused. "Oh, that one's easy. That can happen when a Realm Scaper gets too close to an angle, or Haveechu. Some, though, can be a bit rougher than others," she finished.
