Luke: The yelling was overwhelming. It was complete chaos outside the hotel and hundreds of fans were trying to press up to the windows to get a peak of the boys. Flashes frequently went of and you really didn’t want to step outside the door that separated you, cause you knew that it would only get worse. You felt your breath quickening and tried to calm down, telling yourself that everything was under control. Luke was standing beside you with an arm around your shoulders and seemed to be completely fine with the situation, like it was no big deal. But for you it was but you hadn’t told Luke about your claustrophobia in fear of that he would think it was ridiculous. Plus, it had never been this bad before but now it was just way too many people for you to handle.

“Okey guys, the car’s pulled up so it’s time to go. Make it as quick and effective as possible cause it’s complete chaos out there. Let’s go” said one of the guards and everybody started moving towards the door. Luke dropped his arms from your shoulders and took ahold of your hand instead which you thankfully accepted. Just as the doors opened and the screams became louder it was like everything froze and you couldn’t move a muscle. Luke must of felt you stop cause he turned around and looked curiously at you and then saw the panicked look on your face. “Babe, is everything okey?” His voice was worried and you could barely make out what he said over all the screams. You shock you head no, “ Luke, I can’t do this. It’s too many people” you said. Tears were starting to well up in your eyes and you felt ridiculous for feeling this way but you couldn’t help it. It was like everybody was coming closer to you and you felt your breath hitch in your throat as you tried to breath.  Luke pulled you close to him and gave you a quick comforting hug to calm you down before he grabbed your hand again and this time pushed through with more motivation than before. People were trying to climb over the bars that was separating you and the crowd and when more fans were trying to get ahold of Luke and kept pressing on you squeezed his hand harder. You finally made it to the car after what felt like forever but was probably not more than just a minute and collapsed in the seat. Your heart was still pounding hard in your chest and your breathing was irregular and panicked.  Luke got in right after you and quickly took your hand in his. “Y/N look at me. It’s alright, we’re safe. Just breath, okey?” He tried to keep his voice calm for you but you could tell that he was worried about you. He had never seen you like this before and ofcourse it scared him. He had no idea what to do, all he knew was that he had to try to get you to calm down. You looked up at him, his blue eyes worried and you smiled gently at him. “I’m fine, it was just so crazy out there and I guess I kind of panicked.” You said, a faint blush spreading over your cheeks. Luke pulled you into a hug and kissed your temple. “Don’t worry about it. But the next time please tell me so that I can help you.” You nodded into his chest and then looked up at him. “I promise, I will.” You said and then gently kissed his lips.

Ashton: Normally you wouldn’t take the lift. You would’ve taken the stairs but since you (of course) had a meeting at the 22’nd floor and it was just way too high to be taking the stairs. So there you stood awkwardly in the lift, hating every second of it. It was just you and this other guy in there which of course only made the ride even more uncomfortable. Though you had to admit he was pretty attractive. Tan, blonde curls half hidden under a bandana and maybe around 6 feet tall. He didn’t really look like he belonged in an office, more like by the beach with a guitar. Maybe he was one of the neverending teenagers that came in, in hopes for a job even though they weren’t willing to do a single thing but make money. But he didn’t seem like that type either. If you didn’t think about the awkward silence it was kind of good that he was there since he kept your mind occupied and you didn’t think as much of the lift and how much it actually scared you. Well that was until the lift suddenly stopped and made you fall slightly forward before you regained your balance. The light flickered but remained on and you put your hand on the iron wall of the lift. The lift showed no signs of moving and the panic that you so desperately was trying to avoid started to spread in your body and you felt your hands begin to sweat. “Shit!” you started to press all the different buttons in despair, panicking even more.

“Not to be rude or anything but I don’t really think that’s gonna help” the boy said. You glared at him, shooting daggers with your eyes. You knew that it wasn’t his fault but you couldn’t help but be pissed at him.

“Sorry for trying, but if you excuse me, I really want to get out.” You said and slumped down on the floor, trying to hide your fear since you didn’t want to show how scared you actually were.

“It’s just my fucking luck to get stuck in a lift.” You mumbled to yourself and started to play with your fingers, inspecting your fingernails, really doing anything not to freak out about the small space that you were trapped in.

“Why?” He asked and looked curiously at you.

“Why what?”

“Why is it just your “fucking luck” to get stuck in a lift” he said, doing air quotes around fucking lift.

“Because I hate lifts! I never ride them, I always take the stairs but since I need to get to the 22’nd floor even I though that was a little bit too many stairs to walk.” He looked at you then sat down next to you.

“You know, we’re gonna get out. It probably won’t even take that long plus I’m here to keep you company so I can always distract you if you start feeling scared.” He smiled at you and you couldn’t help but smile back. He was actually really sweet.

“Okey then. Distract me.” You said challenging, turning to him so that you were now facing him. He thought for a minute before his eyes lit up and a smile appeared on his lips.

“How about we get to know each other? We can play like 20 questions.” He seemed to be obviously happy with himself for coming up with the game. You nodded “Sounds good, you go first.”

“Okey...I’ll start easy, what’s your name?”

“It’s Y/N” you said and smiled sweetly at him.

“That’s a beautiful name” He responded sweetly.

Half an hour later there was someone trying to open the door into the lift and you stood up, ready to get out. You smiled at the boy, who’s name you learnt was Ashton.

“Well Ashton it was really nice to get to know you and thank so much for distracting me and helping me from not to freak out” you said and stretched out your hand against him which he gently grabbed and shook before pulling you into a hug. The hug took you a bit by surprise but you gladly accepted and discretely breathed in his smell. He smelled amazing.

“Before we go I think I still have one more question left” he said and you looked curiously at him.

“Question number twenty: Can I have your number?” You couldn’t help but giggle at his cuteness before you smiled at him and nodded your head.

“But only if you promise to call me” you said before you quickly wrote your number down on a note and then held it in your hand, not giving it to him until he promised.

“I promise, I will.”
