Janet's POV

"She's asking to get popped in the mouth." I chuckled and shook my head,

"Whitney, you wouldn't."

"Says who?" I snickered and held my hands up in defense as she stopped walking,

"No one. No one." She nodded and went back to walking, removing her hand off her hip. I swear she thought she was someone's mama. She sighed and looked around as I shoved my hands in my pockets,

"Where's Mariah?" I shrugged, thinking about how close we had gotten last night. I had no idea why I decided to hold her like that. It was inappropriate and I'm sure she probably felt awkward about it.

"Who knows." She nodded and sat on the lounge chair. I sat beside her and enjoyed the feeling of the sun,

"So, back to this whole Madonna thing, who the hell did she think she was, yelling all loud at me?" I smiled and shook my head,

"She's asking for it, Whit." She scoffed and crossed her legs,

"If I knew my momma wouldn't be watching this mess, I would have dragged the old bat." I shook my head again and smiled,

"Oh, Whit. What would I do without you?" She laughed,

"You'd be a sad little Jackson." I rolled my eyes and chuckled,

"I don't know about all that. I'd have Mariah." She nodded then gave me a look. I smiled and tugged on my ear, "What?"

"Mariah, huh?" I nodded,

"Yes? Would you rather me befriend M-"

"Don't say her name. You might summon something." I giggled and hugged my legs, "I was just curious." I arched my eyebrow,

"About?"

"Is this your first time meeting Mariah?" I thought for a second then nodded,

"Yes."

"You two sure did seem to kick it off well." I shrugged,

"If you say so."

"You don't think so?" We both turned from the sound of her voice. I quickly shook my head,

"No, that's not what I meant." She nodded and sat beside me on the chair,

"So, you do think we hit it off?" I sighed and stared at her as she smiled, "Don't worry. You're not that bad, I guess." I squinted,

"Pardon?" Whitney snickered and put her sunglasses back on.

"I said, you're not too bad. I like your company, Jackson." I stared at her and arched my eyebrow,

"I would hope so with how long you stayed in my room last night." Whitney's eyes widened as she snatched the sunglasses off and looked at us,

"What?!" Mariah quickly shook her head,

"It was nothing like that." Whitney scoffed,

"I sent you up to her room to make sure she was okay and you took that as your opportunity to feast on 'Miss. Jackson if ya nasty' over here?!" Mariah groaned and rubbed her face while I snickered,

"No one was feasting on me, Whit... sadly." She shot me a look which made me laugh out loud.

"And hopefully no one will. I'm sure they'd only like the taste of fish in their filets." We all rolled our eyes and looked over at the witch herself.

"For your information, Metamucil, I got that juicy fruit. Not my fault that the only thing your boy toys see when they open your legs is cobwebs and dust." Mariah choked on her water and coughed as I chuckled and patted her back while Whitney cracked up.

Madonna rolled her eyes and flipped her hair,

"I didn't come out here to bicker. I came out here to set some things straight. From now on, the house will be split. You all on the east wing and me on the west." We all looked at each other with furrowed eyebrows. Whitney tilted her head,

"I know you ain't coming up in here trying to segregate us." Madonna shrugged,

"Not segregation. Is Mariah wants to stay on my side, she's more than welcome. Just be sure to wipe down everything you touch." Mariah looked at her as if she was stupid and said,

"Bitch, that's segregation." She chuckled,

"Call it what you may, but those are the new rules." Whitney began to say something, but stopped and smirked,

"Alright. Have fun with the west wing." She spun around on her heels and walked back into the house. I stared at Whitney like she was crazy,

"Alright?? That's all you had to say?!" Mariah scoffed,

"Don't forget that she told her to 'have fun'." Whitney laid back and sighed,

"Calm down, ladies. What you all don't realize is that, the kitchen and all the other utilities is on our side." We stopped and looked at each other. A grin quickly crept its away across our faces as we did our happy dance.

........................

I made my way back to my room and stared at all of the papers on the ground. Even though this is basically my, "vacation," I've been trying to write music, but I couldn't grasp a flow. I sighed as I plopped down on my bed and relaxed.

I didn't feel like dealing with Madonna or listening to Whitney and Mariah compete to see who could hit the highest note. I only wanted to sleep. It seemed as if I had been doing that a lot lately, and even though I had just gotten off of tour, I felt like I should have been doing more. As soon as my eyes closed, a soft knock sounded at my door.

I groaned, "Go away!" Whitney opened the door,

"I know you're not talking to me in that tone." Mariah followed behind her and climbed onto the bed, sitting beside me. Whit took a seat in a chair by the bed and sighed, "Why don't you get out of this stuffy room?" I slowly opened my eyes,

"And go where?" Mariah smiled as she ran her fingers through my hair,

"We're in Miami! We can go anywhere!" I shuddered and looked up at her as she smiled down at me. She knew what she was doing. Whitney smirked and started dancing,

"And we can dance the night away!" I snickered at Whitney as Mariah's fingers grazed down to my neck. I bit my lip and looked away, trying to fight the feeling. The last thing I wanted to do was make our situation worse.

"So, you comin'?" I nodded and looked up at her,

"Yeah." Whitney cheered,

"Then get up! We gotta get fine, girl!"
