Dear Diary,
How in the world can I even start to describe the way he made me feel? His blue eyes reminded me of the sea, deep and dark, yet full of life. You would have to swim around in them for hours, because if you didn't, then you would drown. You would drown in the windows of his soul that pulled you deeper into this black hole that he called love. His hand was one that belonged to a child. Soft and tiny, but held onto mine tightly in fear that I might let his hand go. His voice was the last thing I noticed before he disappeared into the crowd of demons and angels which he had emerged from. His voice was different from the rest of him. Everything else about him seemed gentle and welcoming, but his voice held the echo of a million ghost that were dying to escape from their tortured lives. Its sound burned its way into the back of my mind and stayed there haunting me, reminding me of exactly how he made me feel. I had never seen him before in my life, but when our eyes met for the first time, I could feel a fire burning in my heart. It was like an explosion of a million butterflies that found their way up my stomach and into my lungs, choking me with every word that escaped my mouth. The painful butterflies were making it hard for me to catch my breath. He was beautiful, at least, that's what I thought. He was the kind of person that may not appear beautiful to others, but in my eyes, he was my whole world. Not just a piece of it, he was all of it. He was the trees that grew out of the ground, casting a gloomy shadow on your bright, shining day. He was the sun that rose every morning to wake me and he was the moon that tucked me in every night. He was the snow that danced around the sky and he was the cold winter winds that could easily sweep you off your feet. The best I can compare him to is a summer day, one minute the sun is shining down, blinding you, and the next a sky of grey covers your world as the thunder storm that you knew was coming begins. He had this power over me that I didn't think anyone could ever have. He was both my darkness and my light. No one could ever make me feel the way he made me feel. I never learned his name, so I instead called him what seemed most reasonable. I called him soulmate.
