Life has difficulty. Death causes difficulty. Life and Death coincide with each-other, to form a complex system that acts upon itself on infinitum. Life is what begins, and Death is what ends. Without Life, there would be no Death, and visa-versa. It allows us to reach a destination, and allows us to complete a task. The Life of a goal, is the knowledge that it will reach Death and be completed. We are all in the circle of Living and Dying. It is inescapable. We get no choice.
It is difficult, to Live and Die. The beginning of a new task requires Life to be put into it, which is difficult to do. The ending of a new task requires the Life to come to an end, being Death. The Death of Life is difficult, because we want to keep on living. Life is barrelling down a corridor, only being stopped by the brick wall that is Death. If there was no wall, Life would forever go down that corridor, never stopping. It would never end. After a while, Life will eventually do everything it can, but it would never end, as Death would never arrive. The wall that is Death needs to be built before Life can even exist, as something without an end can never begin in the first place.
It is common for people to take the assumption that Life and Death are related to whether something is animated or not. This is not always the case. Sometimes, Life and Death can relate to abstractions, such as Anger, Fear, Sadness, Love... But it's more than that. Life and Death can be apart of so much more, such as Games, Relationships, Duties, Jobs and so-on. One of these will be reflected in the coming events. Maybe more. The concept of Life and Death are apart of our every day lives, so it is common to see them appear in almost everything we do. The events in this story are based on Truth, and my personal experiences with them. This is not your average read, so please do not presume it as such. The following events are very real, and are acted upon the way I did, but for obvious reasons many names will be replaced for Privacy.
This, is the Odyssey of Joe.
