Invisible Clothes

December 1st, 2012

Today I wore a bruise,

Proudly over my clothes,

While you looked at it

With a stunned look

Maybe

How did I do that?

You,

You did

That beautiful shade of death

From a fist

Much,

Much b i g g e r

Than my own

Tiny little

Fist that I did

Not even use when

You

Asked me to use it

I so proudly wore this bruise

Like a wound from an battle

An old veteran

In his

Death

Bed

Embrace it,

Display it,

Love it

You told me to cover

My wounds

And to

Take my medicine

But

Obliged in the only way

I knew how.
