It was raining that day in New Orleans. Dark clouds were covering the sky, although a few sun rays were showing themselves from behind them, falling down on the graves of the Lafayette cemetery. It was cold, probably the coldest New Orleans had ever been, but that wasn't a problem at all, instead it was rather relieving to the dark brown haired witch. She thought that must have been a sign from the universe welcoming her home. Davina's steps were matching perfectly with the rain drops and the thunders, creating what she thought was a perfect symphony.

She kept on dancing quietly with the thunderstorm, until she reached what was her gravestone. Many flashbacks hit her mind softly, spreading a smile on her wet cheeks and lips. Her fingers gently ran on the edges and then leaned on the almost dead flowers beneath her name; Davina, carefully, lifted two of them, closed her eyes and after taking a deep breath, a slight bit of her magic ran from her fingers to the small leaves, obtaining them to regain color and spread in front of her. "Just like old times." She sighed happily, lifting her head to let the rain pour on her face.

Davina didn't know how much she had missed New Orleans until that day

Davina didn't know how much she had missed New Orleans until that day.. the day where she could finally say she was complete again.
"Welcome home." She said to herself, as she entered the old but beautiful church.
