Althea's POV
After that day i didn't went to school, I was lucky that mamma flew to Japan for some business issues, that day after dropping me to school . Thus I skipped the school and got a chance to think about the incident properly.
I was on my balcony, the weather was too good to take a walk besides I was feeling so bored; only lying on the bed and surfing the net.
So i changed my outfit;from my denim cupcake printed shorts to my grey jeans and the black leather jacket over the green t-shirt that aunt Ashley gave me and Avril on our last christmas. Although mamma told me several times to threw it outside because a daughter of a billioniar mother never wears such cheap cloths but for me 'love matters more than money', its one of my most favourite jacket because it was designed with love!!
My hairs were a mess I had to give some extra effort to secure it in a pony tail. I like makeups but not always so I just put my strawberry lipbam and heed towards my shoe collection . The first thing that caught my eyes was the brown knee boots and I grab it before I changed my mind.

I didn't had much idea about the New York city because I never came to this city before.
While coming I refused to take any bodyguards, not even uncle Federick . It was so suffocating to have someone constantly with me, besides I have google map on my phone so there was no chance to get lost.
I was walking for minutes, the road was too busy I thaught the whole city was so busy. Thus I better prefered taking the lanes over the busy roads of New york . while walking over the concrete footpaths my eyes glued to a shambolic river. I drew closer through the gem green grass and suddenly i felt peace in its violence. There i found a steel swing , I headed over it in the far corner but the view was still that mesmerizing. I took a seat , feeling it sway underneath my weight. My legs were bent in a awkward position for me to fit in and I suffled in the same weird way in the seat. It was not I was actually a tall girl or so, well the truth was that the seat was actually small;most probably it was for kids.I kept my eyes closed and took a deep breath to feel the tranquil wind of the river until I muttered under my breath "I hate tiny seats ".
" if you swing high it won't matter" I snapped my face and scan the surroundings for the source of the second voice and I squinted. My eyes darted to a shaggy haired white face. The man was staring at me too , suddenly the restlessness of seeing a stranger inside me banished when my eyes caught his hickory eyes and his pink lips curved with a forbye smile. A smile from the core of his heart, something unfathomed! I smiled back at him and his smile grew bigger and bigger until bursting out into a pleased smile. For a moment I was perplexed , unknown about the reason .
'What happened Mr...., er, why a-are you smiling ?. I asked him with a complete idiotic smile.
He was paused for a minute , then said 'umm... Nothing...., just recall an old joke' and was persistently turned red .The habit of mine whenever I lie. But he kept his eyes on me like glue.
"Okay and what is it?" I didn't know what made me curious but I suddenly became a little judgemental to know wheather he was telling the truth or not.
Again he was paused for minutes and was staring blankly as if he was searching another lie to console me. The same habit of mine, frankly its quite easy for the people around me to detect when I was telling the truth and when i wasn't . Thus I decided to let go off him.
"Alright"i said covering the despair I got from him and looked straight at the dancing water of the river. I heard a frustrated sigh but didn't bothered to notice .
