"At eleven? Nigga it is eleven. How in the hell did you forget to tell us?" I ignored him instead I take one last look at my room making sure I don't forget anything, until I realize I'm forgetting something. "Could you just go get the damn disk?" I smack my lips becoming annoyed with his presence. I hear him mumble while walking out my room and closing the door. After he leaves I walk back towards my bed, reaching between the mattress and grabbing my notebook and leaving my room.
I head downstairs to the kitchen deciding to get something to eat since we're already late. I open up the fridge looking for something fast eat but to no avail we have nothing to eat. "Yo De, why you ain't tell us we have a meeting. I had to cancel my plans with Mary." K-Ci voice erupts through out the kitchen. I peek my head from behind the fridge door, K-Ci stands at the counter.
"What plans you had? Fucking?" I smirk, already knowing the answer. I closed the frig, stepping from behind it.
Ever since we got signed K-Ci has been seeing another artist on the record label, Mary J Blige. They always try to hide their relationship but everyone at Uptown knows they're sleeping with each other.
"No I'm helping her with something." He trails off, "nah fuck all of that, don't try to change the subject. Why you ain't tell us we have a meeting today?" He folds his arms across his chest.
"I was on the phone with Mary and lost track of the time."

See when I was seeing Mary Jane, Dalvin was messing with her younger sister Sue. After deciding to put Dalvin in the group we was finally ready to start recording our demo tape. However, things didn't go as plan. We soon found out Sue was playing K-Ci and Dalvin at the same time. Which resulted in K-Ci pulling out a gun on Dalvin, long story short Dalvin and K-Ci hashed out their differences and kicked Sue to the curb. As they should.
"Same ole bullshit." I answer not wanting to dwell on that certain topic anymore.
"Whatever, look you hung-" He says before my stomach began to growl loudly cutting him off from finishing whatever he was going to say. His whole demeanor changed, he look as if he was scared.
"I know you did not just stand yo ass up here and fart in the kitchen." He walks away shaking his head, heading towards the stairs. I scrunch my face up in confusion, "It was just my stom-" I try to tell him, but was soon cut off.
"DeVante down here farting in the kitchen and shit." He immediately tells Dalvin and Jojo as soon as they appear in the room. "Come on De, momma taught you better than that." Dalvin speaks shaking his head in disappointment.
