~Chapter 1: Noir~

Everyone began to clear the halls as the girl called Noir scuffled through the halls. Students whispered at her, but as she turned her head and glared, they whimpered and shifted off.

She sat down at her desk in Math class, and the teacher ushered her to come up.

"Noir, right? Tell us a bit about yourself!" She said with a fake smile. Noir could read people, and she could tell she would rather be partying in a club than be teaching Math class. Noir slowly walked towards the front of the class, as many of the students looked at her with both wonder and terror in their eyes.

She stood up in front of the class and turned her frown into a smile.

"Hi! I am Noir. I have move here from Japan and are not very good at English yet."

The teacher looked much happier now. "Well, tell us a bit more!" She said, with a REAL smile this time.

"Okay! I play game called fast five favorites, or, as we call it in Japan, 'Hayai itsutsu no okiniiri.'" She held up five fingers and began to count them down. "Favorite food: Sushi!" She then put up four fingers. "Favorite color: Light blue!" She bashfully smiled and put up three fingers. "Favorite movie: Karate Kid." She held up two now. "Favorite book: Assassin's Creed!" She held up one finger now. "Finally, favorite song: All Time Low by Jon Bellion." She smiled, bowed, and strutted back to her seat.

Everyone jaws dropped to the ground, and they had to straighten up in their seats. The girl they thought was so quiet had such a way with words. Noir had sat down and had taken out a notebook. She reached into the bag next to her and pulled out a pencil case. She popped it open and took out a pencil, and placed it on her paper. She closed up the pencil box, tossed it into her bag, and zipped it shut.

I believe I was the only one who heard a clink of metal in the bag. This made me think: What if she WASN'T what we thought she was?
