"If they have a problem with that, they can kiss my donkey ass." Said Coven.
"You know, with it being the last year before graduation, I think we should celebrate this moment." Said Collen.
"Don't You think it's a bit too early for that?" I replied.
"What?? It's never too early to party about something."
"But the exa-"
"Forget the exams. Their worthless anyways. Besides," Coven stopped and turned around to look at us. "These are our last moments before we go on our own way. I'm not going to spend the rest of our time moping around and not do anything fun."
"Yeah, he's right. We should go out and do something different."
"What did you had in mind?" I finally replied.
"Well, there is a pub I know that my dad used to go to all the time."
"Oh, that place? I don't know."
"It's not like you have something better to do, do you?"
"Well... I was thinking we could- screw it. Let's do it."
Both of them rejoiced.
At the corner of my eye, I noticed a dark anthro watching us underneath an oak tree across the street from us. I couldn't help myself but to shift my look at it and stare back. It was wearing a black hoodie with its ears pointing out, tannish blue jeans with some holes in it and soft blonde hair. The way it looked back at me was unsettling.
"It's that emo kid again." Collen looked up see what Coven is talking about.
"Who?"
"I don't know. You often don't see him like that, or none at all."
"Do you think he heard us?" I replied almost at a whisper.
"Let's go. Well worry about it whenever the hangover asides."

As soon as we made it to the pub, we all started with light drinks and continued talking about sports. Coven and I quickly lost interest in the subject when Collen brought up the attention of the "stats". Coven latter felt the need to speak a little louder when anthros started showing up.
"So... Did you bring the fireworks I asked for?"
"Dude" I inched closer and lower my voice. "You don't need to let everyone know what we're up too."
Coven clumsily chuckles. "Relax dude. It's not like anyone would care if a few firecrackers land in their lawn... or bush, but sure to hell it would be funny if it were to catch on fire."
"I can't believe that I let you talk me into doing this."
My focus drifted away when I noticed a anthro, sitting at the corner of the pub with no beverages or anyone to talk to. He's staring at his hands and bringing it up to the light as if it was holding some kind of secret.
"You know that kid that didn't like talking to anyone and always stays at home?" as Coven sets an empty glass on the table.
"That germaphobic kid?"
"Yeah." With a proud belch. "Saw him in a group talking earlier today."
"Huh. I wonder what encouraged him to go out of his sanctuary."
"Do you want to know what I think?"
I watch as the anthro from the corner lowered his arms and stared straight into the wall.
"I think it has to do something with aliens." Said Coven with his eyes having trouble staying straight.
"Ah, Aliens. Strange beings from a different universe. I use to go bonkers over that stuff before puberty hit me."
"Must explain why..." Coven's voice trails off.
"Explain for what?" I replied, intrigued on what he has to say.
"Explain why he looked at me funny."
"Did you notice anything else that stood out? Did he say anything?" Collen gave me a confused look, then shrugged it off and took another sip.
"I don't know. He could be wearing a different kind of contacts or something."
"Maybe he was brainwashed." Collen said under his breath.
"Brainwashed?" I replied.
He paused for a moment before rolling his eyes again and elaborate a little more. "Brainwashing is a popular thing that aliens do to anthros after collecting whatever they wanted from you. I read that there is another way of collecting information, such as bonding your own body with theirs. It gets you to think your the whole new you by also taking your free will away."
Even though how silly it sounds, I can't keep the heating suspicion that it's a possibility. The anthro that Coven possibly knew acted differently, and the germophobic kid was out of his perfect box. And the eyes Coven mentioned, he noticed something too.
Hands trembling and thoughts going on of endless loop of possibilities, I reached for the mug to clear it up some. As the liquids dripped down my throat, I felt a burning sensation as if my lungs and throat had engulfed into flames.
Under my voice, "What the hell was that shit?" I can barely see those two laughing through my watering eyes.
"This has been one of the best moment I had with you guys." Coven said, speech slurring together.
"But all we did was-" Coven puts a finger on Collen's nuzzle. "Shhh- this is just the start of it." Coven's face falls flat onto the table.
"So." I attempt to announce with a clear throat. "Who's paying?"
