-Y/N'S POV-

"Oh my goodness! It's the first day of school! Can't wait to see my best friend and hopefully make new friends!"
Y/n gets up and gets ready for school. I wonder what I should wear, I'll just wear my oversized sweater and some jeans.

Okay I'll brush my hair and then head downstairs for some breakfast! As I head downstairs I hear my momma singing some song. My momma is the best in so many ways. She's beautiful,caring,loving, and too many to add onto the list.

"Hey mom, what's for breakfast? I asked. "Oh some pancakes for my beautiful little girl." My momma replied. After 15 minutes you start to head out for school. You take a bike to school because it's eco friendly and plus it's a way to avoid traffic especially since it's the first day of school. Its my senior year and to think I'm going to be done and off to college soon is crazy. Life moves fast sometimes I just feel like life moves too fast to appreciate what's going on in my life. Once I reached school, I heard someone call my name. "Y/N! Y/N! Over hereee!"

My friend Loren was calling me over! After I locked up my bike I walked over to her. "Oh my goodness y/n it's been like forever since I saw you! Let's catch up at your locker." Loren says while we both walk to my locker. "Okay, whats been going on? Any interesting things happen over the summer while I was gone?"

"Any you know *smirks* boys you might of crushed on this summer or been with?" Loren bombards you with questions. "No, no, and hmm nope!" I answer. "Besides you know I can't be in a relationship, no one likes me because I'm not attractive." I replied. "Oh shut up, you're one the most prettiest people i know inside and out. You're a dork who is cute, caring, so lovable, and so many things. I just wish you saw yourself as I see you. You're just so kind and down to earth. That's why I love you! Anyone would be lucky to have you!" Loren responds.

"Awh thanks love. Love you too but it's just so hard." I said. "Okay let's just switch the topic, I hear there are these new guys coming to our school." Loren says while I'm getting out my textbooks for the first 2 classes I have. Once you're done getting the stuff you need for the first periods you walk to Loren's locker and she does the same thing. "Well it would be nice to see some nice faces around here. Everyone here is either a player, f boy, or just not my type." I said.

"So true, like as I quote from Daya: "Where do the good boys go to hideaway?" Loren responded. Once Loren's done getting her materials we walk to our first class together. "At least we have two classes with each other this year. I can't believe we're seniors y/n! Like where has the time gone?" I said. As we go to our assigned seats I notice that I see a name I've never seen... well at least at this school. I mean to be honest it's a common name but I've never meet someone who has this name... okay anyways I wonder who he is." My thoughts. *the bell rings* "Okay class! Welcome our new students! Please introduce yourselves to your new classmates for this year." Mrs.Heart says.

The guy who wore glasses: "Hey guys, my name is Brandon Arreaga! I love to make music,have fun, and dance." The guy with dreads and was tall: "Hello! My name is Zion Kuwonu, and I love to be goofy and make people laugh." The guy who had long blonde hair: "um.. Hi, my name is Austin Porter, and I love to draw and watch anime." The guy who's outfit was just straight fire: Hey guys, my name is Nick Mara, and I have a passion for dancing." Last but not least the guy who had some awesome skin( I legit don't know how to describe Eggwin): Hi guys! My name is Edwin Honoret, I love to sing and spread positivity to the world!" "Okay guys please take your seats." Mrs.Heart said. As Brandon sat next to me, I just exchanged small talk. "Y/n, wow that's a really beautiful name. It suits you, ya know because you're beautiful." Brandon said to me.

I blushed ever so slightly. I chuckled and looked away. "Thanks Brandon! If I'm being honest you're kind of cute too." I said. "Oh my gosh! Did I really just say that out loud?" I said kind of loud. "I don't want to come on too strong but would you like to hang out later today?" Brandon asked.
