Eddie Kaspbrak opened the school doors, he walked his first day in the halls of Derry Middle School on September 18th, he was the smallest grade 8 in the school. While he was walking to his locker he got shoved by the school bully Henry Bowers. Eddie slammed into the lockers "dumbass" Eddie whispered. Henry turned around "what did you just say?" "you heard me.." Eddie nervously looked at Henry. Henry walked up to Eddie and grabbed him by the shirt "you don't wanna mess with me." "yeah I do!" Eddie yelled in his face. "alright then" Henry let go of his shirt and pulled out his switch blade "you sure you wanna fight?" Henry swung around his switch blade. "Yup..." Eddie stared at the switch blade. The whole school surrounded the two boys. A young boy with glasses walked past the fight. He backed up. "Hey!" The boy yelled. Henry looked up thinking the boy was a teacher. "What do you want loser." "I want you to stop bullying this boy." "Why is he your gay little boyfriend?" Henry laughed. "No.. But your supposed treat people how you want to be treated." The boy looked at Eddie and smiled. Eddie smiled back. Henry sighed "Alright fucker now get to class." "Fine." The boy 'pretended' to walk away, the boy had a plan to give pay back. The boy snuck through the crowd while Henry was threatening Eddie. Henry started smiling at Eddie "you ready?" (END OF CHAPTER ONE)
