I shoved the door open then ran out to the dock railing.
It was raining hella hard that night which was perfect cause as soon as we stepped out, we were soaked.
"Hope you can swim", I said before I shoved Angel over the railing and into the water.
I jumped over as well then hit the water.
He saw me then I waved him over to under the dock.
We came back up right as footsteps and shadows went across the dock above us.
"Their gone", I heard someone say.
"Shit!!", someone hissed then pushed something a few crates over.
A few seconds later, I heard them all walk back inside and I looked around.
"Alright, where now?", I asked Angel over the rain.
"We-we need to-go over there, then grab the ladder and go up", Angel stuttered back.
"Ok, lets go", I said then started swimming that way.
About 20 seconds later, I grabbed the ladder then pulled myself up onto the other loading dock on the other side of the Head's hangout.
Angel finally swam up so I grabbed him and hauled him up too.
"Come on kid", I said as I nodded and nudged him with my hair before walking across the field.
I did'nt know where we were or where we were going but I knew we had to get somewhere before they found us.
We walked down what seemed to be lonely road in town.
It must of been at least 2 or 3 a.m. but it was freezing.
Kids our age stared at us from their trash can fire as we passed.
Angel was'nt watching where he was going and accidentally knocked into someone.
