Way Back When - FP

Chapter 2

FP: "Seriously ...well I know how to behave good especially since it's for my favourite girl what time should I be there?"

Me: "4:30" I said with a smile

FP: "Ok I'll see you then beautiful"

And with that we hanged up, I got up and picked out an outfit to wear for tonight's dinner and jumped in the shower thankfully it was Saturday so I could finish my homework tomorrow not that I had much left to do anyways. After my shower I did my hair and put my clothes on looking at the time to see it was 4:00. I walked down stairs and into the kitchen "Well look at you, you look beautiful darling" my mother said as she was finishing up the final touches to the dinner, " thank you mom did you need any help?" I asked her with a smile on my face she nodded her head "you can set the table" I smiled and went to grab everything I needed and set the table I heard the door bell and yelled "I'll get it" hoping it wasn't Hal for some reason he always gave me the creeps.

I opened the door to see FP with flowers I had a smile on my face "hi your early" I said letting him in "gotta make a good first impression , by the way you look beautiful" he said giving me a kiss on my check I shut the door "Well my dads in the living room watching tv, so I'll introduce you to him first" I said as he nodded and followed me "daddy, FP is here" I said walking into the living room my dad looked over and stood up and walked up to us "Hello Mr. Smith" FP said as he gave my dad a hand shake "hello young man, nice to see you like to come early" he said giving him a nod "yes sir I like to always arrive early it's better than being late" he said which made me smile more since I know he was winning my dad over with simple words.

Right after that my mom walked in "Hello darling you must be FP" she said giving him a hug "yes and these are for you" he said giving her the flowers "thank you for inviting me over for dinner" he said with a smile on his face "not a problem at all dear, why don't you sit down watch some tv as we wait for Hal to come over.

We sat down to watch a game show my dad was watching him and FP got into a conversation, few minutes later Alice made her way down and sit down on the other sofa my dad turned to her and said "When is this boy coming I'm getting hungry you should have him learn from this boy here who showed up early" he said patting FPs shoulder Alice rolled her eyes as there was a knock on the door "Hal come in" she said bringing him to my dad "Dad this is Hal , Hal my dad" my dad walked over and gave him a hand shake "Nice to meet you" he said I leaned over to FPs ear "You've got them on your side they are going to bust his balls at dinner" I said with a smile which made FP smirk "Dinner is all set" my mom yelled we all made our way to the dining room to eat.

Everything went good my parents asked FP easy questions and Hal all the hard ones which you could tell was pissing Hal and Alice off a lot "Sir I was hoping to take Quinn to the drive in if that's okay with you" FP asked my dad "Yes that's fine just have her home save and on time" he said I smiled and held FPs hand under the table. After awhile Hal and Alice also left and I told FP to follow me to my room so I could get my wallet. Once we made it to my room I shut the door "can I get a proper kiss now" he asked me I nodded as I walked up to him and we started making out he leaned me down on the bed and started kissing my neck and biting gently and rubbing my sides "I'm glad your parents like me I was shocked I thought they would hate me and love Hal like everyone else" he said after he pulled away "Well you charmed them by coming early , being a gentlemen and bringing my mom flowers" I said as I pulled him down for another kiss.

As we sat in FPs truck cuddled up together watching a scary movie. As we were watching the movie my mind started to wonder how we have been together for about five months now and all we have done is kiss. I knew FP knew I was a virgin but we both knew he wasn't and I was kinda worried if I held off that he would go some where else I turned to him so I was facing him "I have to ask you something" I said to him quietly he looked at me and gave me the motion to continue "we've been together for five months now almost six and we haven't done anything but make out and I was just wondering if we are going to go too the next step" I said looking at my hands shy of what he was going to say.

He tucked my hair behind my ear and lifted up my chin so I was looking at him "I just didn't want to rush you, but if you want we can move forward just not tonight, I want to make it perfect for you" he said giving me a kiss on my forehead and bringing me closer to him as we finished the movie.
