The first poem is an Acrostic that was put together for a monthly contest on Writing.Com, the second is a small ditty.
Being Schizophrenic
Seeing life different from others,
Children, mothers, fathers and brothers
Hallucinating sisters with wondrous hair colours.
In hearing voices that seem to mutter,
Zoning out when starting to stutter
On hearing others call you a nutter.
Paranoid about all this clutter,
Home alone trying hard not to blubber
Reading, Yea... I'm no bluffer.
Emotionally we all do suffer,
Now I'm feeling rather battered
I can't get a grip on all that matters.
A schizo am I, well I am flattered.
This Jacket Fits Perfectly
Once upon a time
When I lost my mind
And they realized
I was a nutter.
The doctor did come
With jacket in hand
To make things
So much better.
