My name is Malaina Stone, and I'm 23 years old. I have lived in the Mental Institution of Brunswick for almost 6 years.
"Malaina?" Oh that's Mr. Cross, my doctor. "Yes?" I call down the hall. "There is someone here to see you. I think you might want to come and meet her."
I walk myself down the hallway only to be stopped by a figure only slightly taller than me. "Hello down there, my little munchkin."
I look up to see my old friend from high school. "Kara? Is that you?" She had grown so fast, along with me. She had long black curly hair.
"Yes it's me my couch potato," I chuckled a little. She remembered how lazy I was in high school.
"How are you?" She asked which interrupted my thoughts. "I'm doing fine. How are you?" She gave me a confused look. Then I opened my mouth to ask again because I thought she didn't hear me, but she stoped me.
"I want the truth Malaina. How are you?" I didn't want to answer that question so I asked the only thing that I could think of, "How did you find me?"
She didn't fall for it "look I don't want to fight with you right here. Show me around because this won't be the last time I come here." I nodded my head which signaled her to follow me.
I started walking toward the 'living room' which is the place all the patience and staff hang out.
I walk toward my friends and introduced her "Hey guys, this is my old friend Kara. We met in high school."
Then Sara popped up from her seat "I'm Sara, nice to meat you."
Then it was followed by Noah "Noah, I take it that you will be coming back." God Noah is always trying to flirt with someone.
"Don't mind him, my name is June, nice to meet you."
"June is like the mother of the group, oh by the way I'm Rose."
I looked around knowing that the introductions wasn't over.
"Where is Jack?" I asked knowing the answer "sleeping in room 226 with Thomas" the group laughed leaving Kara in confusion
"They're a couple," I explained. We all walked down to room 226. I opened the door to find the couple cuddling on the bed.
"Hey wake up sleepy heads!" I yelled at them they groaned out of frustration.
"I have someone for you to meet. This is-" "Kara!?"
