(Billy's POV)
We're driving to the funeral and this is so hard. I just don't know what to do. My dads driving, Kelli's in the backseat looking out her window. The whole drive was completely silent. We arrive at the funeral home and get off. They led us to the back room where my mom was held.we admired our last few minutes alone with her. They lead us back and have the ceremony. I couldn't help but to tear up. Kelli put her hand on my shoulder for comfort. We both looked at the floor. We said our goodbyes as they buried her. That's when I lost it. It was horrible saying goodbye. If I could go back and change this action I would. In a heartbeat. We drove home and I dropped Kelli off. It got late really fast. I changed and lied down. My phone went off and Kelli texted me.
K: goodnight , looks like we made it through the day
B: yeah I guess we did. It was pretty hard.
K: I know. It pains me to see you like this .
B: I'm sorry
K: no don't even say that! Don't be sorry! I love you so much!
B: I love you too! But it's been a long day can I talk to you tomorrow?
K: definitely :)
Tears slipped down my face. I sighed wiped my nose and my tears and drifted into a deep sleep.
(Kelli's POV)
What a long day I think as I'm in my room. I just can't imagine what billy must be going through. I just don't know what to feel. I don't know how to act around him. It's so different now. I don't know. Maybe it'll will all be better soon. I love him and I think his moms death hit him hard.
