Why are we afraid?

First chapter, we ask ourselfs why?

Hello I'm jane, but please call me jay. I always ask myself why are us humans afraid? Could it be because of our life before this one? Or because of traumatic experiences in the past? But no that's not it, I'm 12 years old and I'm afraid of the dark. I'm also afraid of paranormal stuff but I still watch videos about it, why are humans so persistent i ask myself all the time. Are you afraid of anything? Do you ever wonder why? It must have a deeper meaning that I don't know about, right? Why am I so afraid of everything? It's proven that fear is a feeling but where does it originate from? Do you know? I decided to write to let my thoughts out. Because this subject it's hard to talk with my friends about, I doubt someone will read this but if you do. Take the time to ask you're self why am I afraid of things? Bye :)
