Darren

I woke up at 5:30 I am not a morning person at all, but it's the first day of my junior year so I got up and got ready by six then I had to wake up my little sister Winter so she could start junior high. She got up and got ready by the time I got finished brushing my teeth I had to leave before I walked out the door Winter shouted,"Say hello to Larana for me." I was confused who is Larana I got into my car and drove to school I saw a girl with white but blonde hair I haven't seen her before maybe she is new or something. The bell rings I say goodbye to my friends and head to class. After six long boring periods which in three teachers gave us homework what teacher does that the first day, but now it's time for my favorite class band with Ms.Kars. Then the whitish blonde hair girl from this morning walked in she had a smile on her face wow she is actually really pretty no makeup I think and her cheeks are a slight tone of red could she get any prettier. Just then I was interrupt by Ms.Kars saying,"Darren meet Larana she is the new saxophone player." That is Larana Winter didn't tell me that Larana was pretty or that she was a freshman. I snapped out of my thoughts she looked at me and said,"I am not new to this I have been playing for four years, but if you know something I don't please inform me." I nodded we aren't going to be playing this week cause we have to get music and instruments settled. Larana looked at me and said,"Is this seat taken?" Of course my best friend Jake said,"Darren she is hot go for it." Larana heard and quickly said,"I'll just go over...." I interrupted her by saying,"No. You can sit here." She sat down and pulled out a notebook and she started to draw it was a person Ms.Kars finally got done talking we had over half of the class period to just do whatever. I went over to Jake who was playing the guitar I joined him I started to play Perfect by Ed Sheeran Larana looked over I winked and her eyes widened and her red cheeks became darker than she went back to drawing she looked at her phone a few times she got a phone call when she walked passed me I heard her say,"Winter what's up." I quickly gave the guitar back to Jake and followed her. I heard her say,"Winter I told I was drawing Darren he is hot and...." she was looking at me she quickly said,"Winter I got to go now." She hung up and said,"By any chance did you not hear me?" I smiled and said,"You are drawing me and you called me hot." Her cheeks were red she hid her face with her hands I quickly went up to her and moved her hands we stood there looking at each other then I noticed her small but soft hands we were still hand in hand I looked at them she did too I started to let go of her hands her grip tighten then she let go looked down and said,"I'm sorry." I grabbed her hand and with my other I lifted up her chin and I asked,"I know this might be sudden but can I kiss you?" Her face flushed red. I blinked and felt my face become red she hugged me I wrapped my arms around her waist her arms were around my neck I whispered,"Can I kiss you now?" She smiled so I kissed her it took a couple seconds but she kissed back who wouldn't. She broke the kiss cause my phone started to ring it was Winter.

W-What did you do to Larana?

D-Nothing why?

W-She is one of my best friends.

D-I know.

W-Darren please don't hurt her she really likes you.

D-I won't I promise.

W-You sure?

D-Yeah.

W-Ok I trust you.

D-Thanks.

W-Love you bye Darren.

D-Love you too bye Winter.

Darren

Larana was looking down she said,"I gotta go back to class." She started walking back to band. Did the kiss mean nothing or am I hallucinating? Did I fuck up or what? I caught up to her I grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards me she looked in my eyes I looked back in hers I asked her,"Come over to my house after school next week." She nodded and went back into the band room.

Larana

I walked back into the band room Jake was looking at me. That's great I don't need this Darren invited me to his house after school next week, but for what Winter will be there so I could hangout with her. I still can't figure out why Darren ask me to go to his house. Just then the bell rang I got up and started walking towards the doors.

Skip a week the days almost over.

Larana

Band was almost over we had like five minutes left I was in my own thoughts when I feel someone grab my arm I turn around and see Darren he said,"You coming with me after this?" I replied,"Yeah."  The bell rang and we started to walking to his car my phone started to ring it was Winter.

Larana=L Winter=W

L-What do you need Winter?

W-Food!

L-From?

W-Taco bell please.

L-Yeah I'll get you taco bell.

W-Yay I love you.

L-I have to go to your house anyways.

W-Why?

L-Darren.

W-Oh ok see you soon. Also just get me a five dollar box please.

L-You got it Winter but what to drink?

W-Dr.Pepper duh.

L-Ok I have to go now bye.

W-Wait I need to tell you something.

L-What is it?

W-Watch out for Darren he is a hoe.

L-Okay I will. Love you.

W-Love you too.

Larana

Darren was staring at me I got into his car and said,"We have to stop by Taco Bell I kinda promised your sister I would get her food." He chuckled and said,"Ok I'll pay." I looked over at him while he was driving and said,"No I am paying." He looked at me then back at the road and said,"I am paying." I quickly replied,"No I am." He rolled his eyes and said really quickly,"Fine but dinner on me Friday night." I smile and said,"Did Darren Thompson ask me on a date?" His face quickly flushed red as we pull up to Taco Bell. We got out of the car and walked into Taco Bell I got the five dollar nacho fries box with a Dr.Pepper the same for Winter I turned to Darren and said,"Get something." He shook his head I said,"Fine I'll order for you." I got him the same thing but with mountain dew. We got back into the car and he said,"You didn't have to get me anything." I smiled and said,"But I did deal with it." He laughed and started the car I said,"Hold on." He looked at me with a confused look and said,"What for?" I grabbed his cheek and whispered,"This." I kissed him we didn't pull apart for a couple minutes then I said,"Okay now to your house." I know that I was red as hell because he is amazing.  We started driving to his house when we got there Winter yelled,"Food!" I laughed and said,"Wow nice to see you to." She laughed and hugged me she pulled away and we went inside to eat I gave them there food when I handed Winter hers I saw her eyes scanned my face she quickly asked,"Why are your lips so red?" I had to come up with an excuse so I replied,"Just some red lipstick." She grinned and said,"Larana you don't wear makeup! You kissed Darren didn't you." My eyes went wide and Darren looked back then Winter yelled,"Awww it's so cute!" I laughed and smiled I saw Darren sigh in relief well at least I think in relief. Was he relief or disappointed it's scaring me. Then Winter whispered,"Remember what I said."
