Settling In

Nar. POV:

As night rapidly approached the stunning pale-skinned boy sat on the cathedral looking over the beautiful Venice night,it was everything he dreamed. Beautiful architecture,great food,warm weather,and quiet nights. As he sat there he looked up at the cold pale moon. His mask and knife were next to him,he felt the warm thick blood on his hand,as he looked at his mask also covered in it he wiped some off his face with his sleeve. "Tell me Reaper,have you ever known a life quiet like ours?" Crow said with a slight sad smile on his face. "No Crow I have to say I've seen our life which is like this,yet no other" Reaper said with his animalistic voice. "It's strange,we're strange,sad even...how alone we truly are. No one wants to be friends with a boy and his demonic alter personality. Wouldn't you agree?" Crow said with his sad smile and a tear streaming down his face. As he felt the warm liquid move down his cheek Reaper said "Of course not,we have each other". Crow was surprised by how compassionate the demon sounded this night. "You can never be alone,so long as I'm with you." He said sounding almost human. As he sat there Crow felt his eye change red and his teeth grow sharper. "We are perfect remember? Not just at killing,but as people. The dark and the light,the sun and moon,day and night. We are perfect equilibrium." Reaper said this time sounded just like a normal person,and not the demon he truly was. "Why? Why did you prompt me that day? When he hit me?" Crow asked genuinely curious. "I've been with you all your life...I couldn't watch you get beat one more time by him...so I told you what you had to do,but it was your choice to kill him the way you did"
