"Come on Delaney. Evan is totally a hot guy. Take that bait girl!" Evelyn winked as her giggle sounded through the air.

"You know I don't date Evelyn!" Evelyn rolls her eyes at my statement. She was talking about Derrick in her chemistry class when her eyes rolled back and she fell on the ground. Oh no.

"Everyone clear out. Give me space!"

She was seizing on the cold hard ground. Her head was banging on the ground repeatedly. In one swift move, I remove my fluffy hoodie and lay it under her head. I just sit and watch my best friend shake uncontrollably. And suddenly it stops.

I check her pulse and it was gone. Screaming out in frustration, I start doing compressions. Tears falling down my blotchy face, I continue compressions until the paramedics throw me off of her.

I follow them out to the ambulance. They allow me to go with her to the hospital. I watch as they use the defibrillator on her heart. They shock her again and again until the flatline is a prominate sound.

Grasping her hand, I say a small prayer that she will be okay. Arriving to the hospital, they take Evelyn to the morgue and call for her next of kin. Sitting outside, I look up into the sky and I close my eyes. Replaying that last moment, I try to remember what happened, what caused her to seize. She doesn't have epilepsy.

Sensing a presence next to me, I find a brown eyed male sitting in a wheelchair smiling down at me.

"Hey there. What a pretty day!" He exclaims as he rolls his chair next to me.

"It is isn't? My name is Delaney by the way."

"Well hi there Delaney, my name is Jared." He says as he grabs my palm and kisses the top. Rolling my eyes, I dust off my pants as I spring off the ground.

"Nice meeting you, but I have some stuff to do. See you around maybe?" I ask as he gives me a smile.

"Definitely."

"Delaney! Wake up you have a visitor!" my mother screeches as she bangs on my door. Stretching out my back, I shuffle towards the livingroom. A tall gentleman in a suit smiles at me.

"Hi Delaney, I'm Agent Scott And I'm handling Evelyn's case."

"Case?"

"Yes. According to the toxin report, Evelyn was poisoned. She was murdered. And we just wanted to see if you remember anything from yesterday? Any event seem as weird?"

"I can't really remember Agent Scott. Evelyn and I resumed our normal lunch routine."

"Do you know a Derrick Castman?"

As soon as those words left Agent's mouth, I felt as if my body was being pulled in different directions.

I see an exhange as a girl's hand reached out to grab the pills. A fifty dollar bill was exchanged, but the girl seemed uneasy. She walked away clamping the pills in her hands.

Running into the bathroom, she downed the pills and started to breathe slowly. Ten minutes later, she walked towards the cafeteria. Something didn't feel right. Her senses hightened. White noise erupted in her ears.

I woke up to Agent Scott shaking my shoulders. Breathing rapidly, I tried to calm myself down. What was that? I remember the vision vividly. Why did that hand look similar? Who was the girl?

"Delaney. Are you okay?" My mother asked as she made me a cup of tea.

"Yes mom. It was nothing. Just got a little bit dizzy. I must be starving."

Agent Scott stood up and dusted off his suit, "If you ever think of anything, call me Delaney."

Agent Scott was gone with his card on the table. What have I gotten myself into?

I decided to go out to the trendy coffee shop down the street. Sitting in a chair I watch as my whip cream swirls inside my cup of coffee, a honeybun sitting next to it. Listening to the conversations around me, I start thinking about Evelyn's murder.

Scrolling through her instagram, I look at all of our pictures together. She's smiling wide with a care free look on her face. Something catches my eye, on her left hand is a maroon ring with diamonds encrusted into the band. I have only seen that ring once, and that ring was in my vision.

Lol I know. Only 728 words. But its a start. Update soon maybe? Or maybe not. Im a slacker🙄
