A "princess's" tale

Prologue

"Jen's" POV:
' *clang*... duck... front guard... full iron gate guard... guard of the woman... pivot... attack... now that their assassinated time to leave... '

*time skip to when "Jen" is back with their guild*

"Hey soul sister! How was the job?"
"Hey dude, pretty easy, and now I have to write all the moves I used which kinda sucks..."
"Hey, finish it fast and we can go out and see what they have in the shops."
"You know I hate shopping."
"We could buy some food... or some more video games to play...? Come on, please, you need to get out more then just jobs!!!"
"Fine, fine!!! But just this once ok. After I finish writing the report that came with this job."
"Finally!!! Ima go get ready, if your not ready I'm dragging you to the stores anyway so hurry up!"
"Fine Drew, just don't let me beat you or we're not going to the book store."
"Got it and if I beat you were not going to the ice cream store! Deal?"
"Deal!! See ya!!"
"Bye!!"

*another time skip because she literally just wrote what was at the start, dressed and went to Drew's room*

"Dang it!! How did you beat me Aurora?!?!"
"You realize your not supposed to say my actual name in the public, right?"
"Of course, butnwere with the guild, everyone knows already."
"True, also your necklace is open."
"Shoot... SO IS YOURS!"
"dang it..."
"Hey you two, we just got word that the king is going to talk to the public and the prince is to maybe show up. That means no public unless with job or told to spy. Until then study some of the rules, for the big test for you guys tomorrow."
"Do we have to Jason... WAIT TOMORROW?!?"
"Yes Drew, tomorrow. Now go before I make you go."
"Ok ok, come on Drew..."
"Fine, Bye Jason..."
"Bye guys, also because of the public thing you guys can get ice cream after you study."
"Yay!!"

'Ok so time to find the rule book... here it is... ok so...'
"Jen, you ok? You've been sitting there for a few minutes just staring at the cover..."
"Hmm? Oh sorry, just got caught up in my thoughts..."
"Ok... well let's start!"
"Ok, rule on-"
"Zach, something came up and we could use your help!"
"Ok give me a sec! Sorry Jen, but I have to go help them."
"I know. Just go, I can take it from the start."
"Got it! I'm coming!!!"

'So now I'm alone...'
-Rule one:
•never reveal your an assassin
~this means don't have you accessory open out in the public, so people don't try to kill you.
~this also means no using anything from the guild in public, in case a guard is watching and is ready to kill you.

•never take tasks over your level
~Exception: you are allowed to go to a job one above your level if you have someone who is that level or higher
-Rule 3:

"Aurora!!! We kinda need you, like now!!! Shoot, ahh!!"
"Coming! Drew!?"

'Ok so for all I know my best friend, pretty much my brother is probably in the most trouble ever... please don't be dead... please don't die...'

"Drew?!?"
"Over here!!"
"Oh thank Evelyn... you ok?"
"Yeah... kinda... just got hit in the arm with a dagger so..."
"Come on... we need to get more help!"
"I'll be fine, I'll get more help you go fight."
"What's even happening?!?"
"You can see for yourself, now go!!!"
"Ok ok, just get some help."
"Got it!"

Also just a side note but I'm on mobile so I have no idea what this looks like anywhere else so... sorry it's short I'm not the best and it looks longer to me
Lastly I'm in school (big surprise :0) so I can only write before and after school when I have free time so don't expect daily updates or a schedule. I'm just going to update when I have time. That's all for now so bai!!!
