The bell for the end of lunch was about to ring. I put my bookbag on, getting ready to leave.
"Hey, Mersadies gue....." the bell then rung, cutting Tariel off from what she was about to say to me.

I got up quickly, picking up my notebooks that were on the lunch table.

"Did you do the Algebra II homework?" He asked as we approached the door to my 5th period class.
"What do you....." I stopped as I smelt a familiar scent. A scent that I had been dreading to smell since yesterday when I started school. It was the smell of pot and axe spray.
Don't get me wrong. It's not a bad smell, it's the person that always trails along with that smell....Zae.

Zae was one of the most troublesome boys at the school.....and he always got away with everything. Yep that's right. He was the school bad boy.
Evan chuckled and patted my shoulder, "Yeah, good luck with that." He said as Zae walked into the classroom. "I'll see you next period."
"Yeah, if I survive that long." I remarked and he smiled and walked away.
I walked into the classroom and took a seat.
The bell rang again and everyone took a seat.
"Hey Mersadies." The familiar voice said from the seat beside me.
I turned my head and glared at him and he smirked at me. I turned my head back around to the front of the room.
The classroom door opened and Shon came rushing in and in the other seat next to me.

"Oh, look who's back." Shon said

He put his hands up as if he was surrendering.
I smile at what he did and turn back around to face the front of the room again.
