-Chapter 1-
Fridays are usually my favourite day but today it's raining. Don't get me wrong I love the rain, it's just that I have a really important soccer game after school. It's against our school nemesis, the Grey Wolves from Cedarwood High. We are the Panthers from Birch Bay High.
I'm sitting in biology second block, waiting for the lunch bell to ring. Lunch is my favourite part of the day unless I have soccer after school. This got me thinking about my soccer game....
***Day Dream***
I'm usually either center D or Striker. (Im both because I have a powerful kick and I'm fast so my coach decided He would chose what position I would play each game) There was only five more minutes left in the second half and the game was tied. They had possession but quickly lost it to Sarah, my best friend and the second best defender, after me of course, but this game, coach had placed me as left striker. The right striker was Kendra. She's nice but we dont really hang out. Anyways, Sarah had passed the ball up the field, and then it was crossed to Kendra. We both ran toward dodging players with our midfielders keeping up behind us. I ran towards the far post and just like we planned before, she flicked it ip and towards the middle around the net. And like I was supposed to do, I ran forward, jumped up, and heading the ball as hard as I could to the bottom right corner!! It went in and the clock went of. The game was over and we just won!!!! Everyone ran over and picked me up chanting my name, " Kylee! Kylee! Kylee"
***End of Day Dream***
"Kylee!"
I jumped in my seat startled and people Around me started laughing. My teacher, Mrs. Smith, was looking at me sternly.
" Yes Mrs. Smith?" I asked as politely as I could.
" Would you mind answering the question for the class?"
" Oh yeah, erm... Sure I guess?" I said, making it more like a question
" So what is it?!" Man this lady has no patience for kids. It's a wonder why she would ever be a high school teacher.
" Er, no?" You could almost see steam coming out of her ears. I mentally laughed, thinking about how cartoon bulls always have steam coming out of their ears.
" Next time would you please pay attention In my class Mrs. Richards." Even though it was more of a rhetorical question I nodded my head looking down at my textbook but then flicking the hair out of my eyes.
To give you a picture of myself, I have long blonde hair with light brown streaks through it. Im tanned and I have chocolate brown eyes. I'm around 5'10, making me one of the tallest girls in my grade. Im not fat either. But im not quite skinny. I mean I have some curves but small love handles are there. And like any other girl, I wouldnt mind losing some off my thighs either. Most people say I have a pretty face but I wonder if they can acually see passed that. Im not saying Im ugly or anything, I will admit im pretty- on good days- but these days, only close friends actually care about your personalities. Guys sure dont though. They only want to get into your pants. But back to describing myself, I live in Birch Bay, a Quiet town by Blaine in washington. I'm 16 and I haven't ever had a boy friend. Lets put it as, "Looking for Mr. Right."I've had my first kiss though, but I didn't enjoy it because it was during a game of spin the bottle in seventh grade. And seriously, who wants to kiss the nerdy kid with glasses and braces, wearing a tie. Who wears a tie when your only 12 years old for goodness sake! I mentally sighed. I was so ashamed after that party. I had to stop hanging out with the usual people. I was left alone, eating lunch everyday by the old tree, with no one to talk to. But then Sam and Sarah asked me to hang out with them one day. I had never really talked to them before but after that day, we were inseperable.
Tuning back to my teacher going on and on about boring stuff, I tried to pay attention. I'm usually a good student aside from my day dreaming. I have had straight A's since 8th grade.
Just when my teacher flipped the page, there was a knocking on the door, making every student sigh in relief. Then when it opened, the hottest, most gorgeous looking guy, walked through the door. He had spiked black hair with electric blue eyes. He was really tall too, which was nice because there are only 5 guys taller then me. I couldn't help but check him out, scanning over his tight red tshirt and showed off his arm and stomach muscles perfectly. He had on dark blue jeans and a pair of black, silver and white vans. The teacher went to talk to him and for some reason I checked my outfit to see if I look ok. I was wearing a white and yellow shirt with orange flowers, (my favourite,) with light blue capris and yellow flip flops. I didn't have time to do anything with my hair today so I had put it a messy ponytail and I had only put on a little mascara and eyeliner. I was born with even toned skin so I don't have to wear foundation. I thought I looked fine so I looked up back to the new guy. Him and the teacher finished talking and she introduced him to the class, "Class, this is Brian Winters. He just moved here from Vancouver, Canada. He will be in our class for the rest of the year," Even if that was still pretty long because today, it was only October 18, " And i need someone to show him around the school after class so how about..." Omg I hope it isn't me. I always blush a lot around hot guys! "Kylee!" Yes! Wait what?! No!! "Kylee please wave to Brian to show who you are. I looked towards Brian and realized he was already looking at me. Wait let me correct that, looking me dead in my eyes. How did he know who I was? Oh well. I just shook it off and waved blushing like crazy. Then all of a sudden the bell rang. Crap. Well I better just get this over with...
