"You're too nice." We've all heard it, I'm sure. In such a cruel world as the one we live in now, we all should try to be good people. And that's how I was, being a genuinely nice person with no hidden intentions. Just working to the best of my ability. This world eats nice people alive. It's unfortunate that kindness is taken as weakness and we are all either born with the natural ability to harden our hearts or forced to harden our hearts by different circumstances.
I hate the fact that I'm changed by this person and this situation because I've always prided myself on being a good person.
